Reclaimed Basement Project

The soffit at the end of the stairs hides a few large pipes that needed to be lower than ceiling height. The staircase was to be an open staircase with balusters, however, there was a column, so we drywalled a box around the column and continued the railing on both sides of it. The overall effect - very intentional and classy.
