Painted Buffet in Traditional Dining Room with Patterned Rug

Mixing patterns requires a lot of care and some experimentation. Here we combined a vintage-looking painted buffet with a diamond-patterned rug. The combination works because of the mixed scale of the patterns and similarity of colors.
