Skyrocketing property prices in Islington within the last few years have turned this London area into one of the most desirable. Wise resale investments could bring huge profits and the client had planned the same purpose: make it beautiful and sell it with a good profit. Finishing quality was of the main importance in this project. The client was property developer who owns the entire building of Rufford Mews. We had full refurbished more than 10 flats in Rufford Mews. Most of the projects included new electrical installation, new central heating installation, walls were replastered, painted, engineered wood flooring installed, doors replaced, new kitchen and bathroom installed.

My clients are big chefs! They have a gorgeous green house that they utilize in this french inspired kitchen. They were a joy to work with and chose high-end finishes and appliances! An 86" long Lacranche range direct from France, True glass door fridge and a bakers island perfect for rolling out their croissants!

This island contains 90 cubic feet of storage. That is 3 times more than a 24" X 84" pantry cabinet. For ease of entry, two of the islands cabinet were turned to the side. The doors resemble decorative panels on the side of the island but two small tab handles at the top of each door makes them practical.

This kitchen and breakfast room was inspired by the owners' Scandinavian heritage, as well as by a café they love in Europe. Bookshelves in the kitchen and breakfast room make for easy lingering over a snack and a book. The Heath Ceramics tile backsplash also subtly celebrates the author owner and her love of literature: the tile pattern echoes the spines of books on a bookshelf...All photos by Laurie Black.

Spectacular unobstructed views of the Bay, Bridge, Alcatraz, San Francisco skyline and the rolling hills of Marin greet you from almost every window of this stunning Provençal Villa located in the acclaimed Middle Ridge neighborhood of Mill Valley. Built in 2000, this exclusive 5 bedroom, 5+ bath estate was thoughtfully designed by architect Jorge de Quesada to provide a classically elegant backdrop for today’s active lifestyle. Perfectly positioned on over half an acre with flat lawns and an award winning garden there is unmatched sense of privacy just minutes from the shops and restaurants of downtown Mill Valley. A curved stone staircase leads from the charming entry gate to the private front lawn and on to the grand hand carved front door.
