Kathy Kuo Designs IncThe goal of any office design is to make the space as productive and functional as it is comfortable and beautiful. Therefore, we made sure to fit a full desk into this space complete with drawers and trays perfect for organization. With so much natural sunlight shimmering in through the window treatments of this coastal home, placing the desk right in front of the sunshine was an absolute must. The feminine and sophisticated look of our Oriana shagreen desk serves as the perfect hero piece, bringing a classic touch to the office while maintaining the coastal design style.
At Home by DesignThis element of the build was an extension, giving room for an office and shower room. This meant that the room could also be used as an extra guest room, au pair suite or granny annex. The colours were kept light and calm, picking up colours from the garden, which is in full view through the bi-fold doors.

The office was adorned with rich grass cloth, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
A custom-made floating desk with custom corbels and Quartzite countertop was installed, along with reading space and floating shelves.
The addition of custom windows and alder window trim enhanced the aesthetic of the room.
The design allowed for versatile use as both an office and a music room.

Folds Inside LtdThe brief for this room was to create a luxurious and colourful office space where the client could not only work but also unwind. The walls were painted a pale peach and wallpapered panels were utilised to create a feature around the office. Pops of red were introduced in the lounge chair and rug, as well as a few accessories dotted around to bring it all together. The result is a calm yet fun space for work and relaxation.

Emily Roose InteriorsA lounge space for the whole family complete with a large wall mounted TV, a custom designed 4 person desk with storage, a large cabinet with sliding frosted glass doors for all the office equipment and supplies, and a custom large glass multi-pendant chandelier suspended above. The walls are divided by a valance that goes around the room to integrate lighting and hidden window shades. Above and below the valance are two organic wallpapers with the blue grass cloth below and the silver cork above. The ceiling is in a warm cedar and the room is complete with access to a private deck and large windows to take in natural light and the stunning mountain landscape that surrounds the home.

OxanaKovalchukDesign.IncThe client asked me to help her with her long time dream to turn one of the guest bedrooms into her own space.
The client explained that her Mom often visit them and they really need a room, which is the cute and cozy office and easily can be transformed into the Guest room for Mama. I asked a few questions to understand the Client's preferable style and favorite colors. She expected fresh colors with some Lilac accents. The room wasn't very big and airy. That is why I suggested to use the the wall murals with the perspective and horizontal line, which will make this room visually deeper and wider. I found this great wallcoverings with the Spring, or summer forest motives. Very important moment is that you can see the forest lit by the bright sun. Very positive mood of this wall mural made this room sunny and airy. I used the colors of Nature: Tree foliage colors in combination with a dark woods. I selected the rug, with repeats blossoming flowers colors. This rug made me feel like the flower's petals scattered to the floor. A biggest color accent of this room is the book folding sofa. The client's Mama now have a very shiny room with a comfortable sofa to sleep on, at the same time my client has a personal space to work, to enjoy while she is reading her favorite books.

Truth Design Build, LLCOur scope for the home office turned kids activity area was fairly minimal. We chose to keep the existing cabinetry and spiced things up with the understated yet impactful wallpaper and contrasting navy blue velvet curtains. Finally, we used the client's existing décor to make it more homey! We are loving how a few small changes can make such a big difference!
