Interior Landscape

The wall of glass framed by timbers incorporates the Blue Ridge landscape; it becomes a part of the room. The rock, stacked wood, the layers of furnishings and their texture qualities constitute an interior landscape suitable to it's contextual environment. Sometimes, the great room is filled with life - a place to gather. Sometimes it is filled with quiet except for the crackle of the fire and becomes a place to think - to just be - to get away.
