Barn Conversion - Master Bedroom

The upstairs bedrooms have sloping ceilings as they are in the eaves of the barn. This always challenges a designer especially the only source of natural light is a window at one end of the room. The décor therefore, was kept light and unfussy with the colour and pattern coming from the soft furnishings. These were in strong colours to compliment the antique furniture that the client was keen to keep which would have been too dominant if muted tones had been used. The deep raspberry pink accents work perfectly here creating a pretty bedroom that was not too feminine.
