African Satinwood Kitchen

I love to work with customers who have a unique vision for their passion projects. This customer was a pleasure to work with as she envisioned her dream kitchen. The materials in this kitchen are exotic woods: the wall cabinetry is African satinwood while the island and desk area are waterfall bubinga. The selection of materials was the longest part of the process as I provided the customer with dozens of type samples of veneers to choose from. As a completely natural material, veneer is available in a range of colors, figures, and grain types. As you walk into the kitchen, the grain of the satinwood has a mesmerizing 3D effect. This project was completed in collaboration with Central Valley Caseworks.
