Thanks for your question. There probably is a particular name to describe this entry design, but unfortunately I do not know it. The style of the house is mainly Arts and Crafts with some splashes of Victorian. The house was built as a stable for a the main house in the late 19th Century and then converted to a house sometime in the mid 20th. We added this entry to the house during the renovation project that we did recently. As to your question about cost, yes, this is much more expensive than a typical gable entry. Typically, anything with a curve is more expensive than straight lines.
