The Bedworks of Maine finishes contain no urea formaldehyde and are not catalyzed finishes. All Bedworks of Maine beds(except unfinished) come finished with an Aqua-Clear water-based top coat (pricing includes this finish). This finish contains a UV absorber to significantly reduce natural wood discoloration due to sunlight. It is an excellent hard finish that is resistant to fingerprints.
