• Ironic and immediately empathetic, Chapeau is the new lamp from Serafini Marmo Luce, reminiscent of a broad brimmed hat.

Created in Travertine marble or lava stone, the Chapeau line has highly physical overtones: the sculpted and quarried marble is alive, raw, the materials chosen have an almost rough, lived-in look. The contrast between the stone and the lightness distributed by the illumination highlights the object’s evocative power, making it extremely versatile, adding its own personality to every type of environment.
A subtle balance between the material effects and the lines’ simple elegance, created to afford the maximum respect to the quality of the work as well as the natural element with its ever fresh and unique effects.
The style, design and materials were carefully researched to ensure they fit in to a variety of environments, from the home to contract use; a more developed representation of living which considers new shapes and materials for the light, and which makes it a welcoming space, lovely to look at and lovely to live in.
