Van Parys Architecture + Design

This was the first time that we'd ever hired an interior designer like Van Parys. Some of their suggestions, we didn't necessarily agree with, and so some of the items we decided to collaborate with our contractor and to them on our own. For the items that we did agree with, their vision was far greater than ours, and every piece that they took looked and felt absolutely fabulous. We now have some serious regrets in not going with every suggestion that they made, as there is a clear diffference in our home with what we decided to do, and with what Van Parys did. They were super professional, responsive, and listened to what our wishes were. I would hire them back again in a heartbeat, and may even hire them to do the areas that we decided to do!

My husband and I hired Michael and Rosa in July 2015 to assist with a major remodel of a dated home that we purchased. This was my third time undertaking a large remodel and third time working with architects and designers. The scale of the project was large and overwhelming; I am convinced that the end results would not have been as spectacular as they are had I hired another firm. Michael, Rosa and their staff were focused and professional at every turn. The entire team communicates effectively, in timely manner and is able to express the vision clearly so that we really understood how remodel would look. Of note is Michael and Rosa's ability to work with our contractors since we were not always able to make every meeting every day. I had full faith in their ability to handle the job site. The ideas that Rosa had to freshen all of the dated elements of the home were unique, exciting and captured our wishes. They understood our families needs as well as the look that we envisioned for our new home and delivered it down to the last detail. Every aspect of our home is elegant and comfortable and livable. Having been through this before with other firms, I can honestly say that VPAD made this project fun instead of painful like remodels can be. I am thankful to them for creating such a wonderful home for our family.

I chose VPA + D to design and furnish my new home. Rosa Van Parys and her team were amazing . Meetings were well organized and productive. Rosa has an impeccable sense of style and professionalism that is evident in her work. My home is visually stunning , as well as livable. There is not a detail that was missed. I was lucky enough to contract with Michael and Rosa Van Parys of Van Parys Architecture & Design who are both formally trained respectively at Harvard and USC. They and their team of professionals are what I can consider the perfect "Dream Team". They were able to make the new house I bought into a home that is comfortable and yet I have been told that it is also a showcase. They were all professionals and made the experience of renovation a pleasant one, which is usually unheard of. I will work with them again in the future, and I also consider them friends.

We can't say enough about the Van Parys firm. They have an excellent staff and their in-house design team are among the best in the business. We work with a number of different architects and the Van Parys' firm always delivers detailed plans, excellent designs and superior customer service to us and our mutual clients. Working with Michael Van Parys is a delight. Rosa, Andrew and Tony compliment his team with professionalism. This firm not only can handle the smaller projects, but they excel in the high end luxury segment of the residential market. We look forward to continuing to work with them on future projects!

Although we do not source our products directly to many architects and designers, Van Parys Architecture + Design have been kind, generous, and professional always. When we found out they sourced our tile for a restoration of a 1920’s Spanish estate, they were incredibly responsive. Our mutual appreciation for each other in the building community is refreshing and greatly appreciated. Van Parys understands that mutual respect and support goes a long way. We have grown to admire the leadership behind the brand as their values, pursuit of excellence, and integrity are remarkable.

I have worked with Rosa on several projects now and only have great things to say about those experiences. Rosa is an extremely dedicated creative who demands the highest standards.
