From our slate entry to our new floors to the built-ins in the family room to our granite in the kitchen and bathroom, it all ties together to provide a warm, comfortable home. “We hired Hellen Hsieh, the owner of Design Loft Company, to design our 725 sq ft great room addition. We are so incredibly thrilled with the completed project, it is exactly what we had envisioned. Our existing house was a 1200 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The kitchen and living area was very modest. With two teenagers at home, we needed to expand and wanted more room to entertain. When we started the project we were uncertain if we should knock down walls and remodel the current floor plan and add a small addition or keep the footprint of the existing house exactly the same and add on one large great room. We decided to do the later, however, to get to this point, we went through several different renderings. Hellen provided us with many great options and helped us decide what would be the most economical and feasible plan. She was flexible, patient and was great about pointing out the pros and cons of each option. Her interactions with our architect , contractor and cabinet supplier went very smoothly which helped us to meet specific deadlines. Hellen was maticulous when it came to the kitchen cabinets and made sure everything was ordered properly and our custom stain came out exactly how we wanted. As a designer, she is very creative and knowledgeable. She understood the style and feel we were after. More importantly she was very conscious and respectful of our monetary constraints which helped us complete our entire project within budget. What impressed us most was her understanding of the build process: from the contractors needs, the city requirements, realistic costs and time estimates, appliance installation prerequisites and inspection requirements. We couldn't be more pleased with Design Loft and Hellen's professionalism.”

“All of the work done by Peninsula Modern is clean, contemporary and uniquely designed. Every detail is examined and household decisions (such as using a cupboard used exclusively for coffee or what to do with extra space over a garage) are cleverly solved. I have worked with Tiffiny on a few projects and she is easy going and decisive, and the team she works with is the best at what they do. I would highly recommend Peninsula Modern.”

“We worked with Natalia on a major home remodel -- full kitchen and 3 bathrooms. I was a blank slate and while I knew what I didn't like, I didn't have an exact vision of what I wanted. Natalia was invaluable and made what was an overwhelming process, easy and painless. After meeting with us and asking many questions, she had a feel for our style. When it came time to choose tiles, paint colors, countertops, fixtures, she "went shopping" first and then brought us 2 or 3 options from which to choose, and they were spot on. She has a fabulous eye and we absolutely love our kitchen and bathrooms. We continue to work with her on other household projects. Natalia is a true professional, and fun to work with. I can't say enough great things about her, except I'd hire her again and again!”
