Robs workmanship is to a very high standard and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Helen gave us great ideas on design that we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. ““Square One Design needed only minimal input and direction before coming back with the perfect design - it was such an easy process for me. Mark was working within a challenging situation; the kitchen was part of an extension, so dimensions and timelines frequently changed. He was resolutely professional & provided clear communication throughout the necessary adjustments. During the installation, the SQ1 team was extremely conscientious, paying meticulous attention to detail. as if working on a kitchen in their own house, which was reassuring. Of all the tradesmen working on the house, they were definitely the tidiest! The end result is a triumph - frequently complimented (particularly the very special concealed drawers), and a pleasure to admire every time I walk in the room. I would not hesitate to recommend Square One Design to anyone. Thanks again. I love it!””

“This company was employed to build an alcove tv and book unit which included cupboards and book shelves and lighting - it was constructed in ply and stained to match surrounding wood work. So impressed we asked them to build a second alcove unit that was curved and had glass shelves and custom made glass doors plus internal lighting. If anyone is in doubt about the craftsmanship and attention to detail please let me know as I strongly recommend Alcove Carpentry - I cannot praise them enough.”

“Jonno has an wonderful combination of CAD design and practical furniture making skills. We made a commitment to bespoke fitted furniture for every room of our new house, while the house was still being built. Jonno created a virtual 3D model to enable us to do a "walk through" of the house that was still just a shell, visualising his designs and allowing us to make changes so that it met our requirements. He worked hand in hand with our lighting designer to ensure his furniture incorporated her ideas. We took a risk, with quite a few pieces of furniture in storage until the rooms were ready for installation, but Jonno inspired confidence and we were exceptionally pleased with the result. We liked Jonno's ideas and suggestions, and found him a pleasure to work with.”
