“The brief for the St Johns Wood apartment was to bring it up-to-date, with a modern look, but within a relatively tight budget and timeline. Yusra and the team delivered superbly on all fronts: the revamp of the flooring and the kitchen, with a re-paint in fresh colours, completely revived the look of the ageing property. Furthermore, the modern, bright, and selectively colourful furniture and furnishings made the apartment extremely desirable for tenants; so much so that all three visitors on the first day of viewings put in an offer and the apartment was let within 24 hours of being put on the market. The best thing about the refit was that even a few years later, it still looks as fresh as the day it was done - in short, an excellent return on my interior decoration refit investment”

“I recently moved to a brand new apartment from a traditional Victorian terraced house after 30 years and so I wanted something totally new and different to what I had lived with previously. My taste is not very modern at all and so I was wanting someone who could help me create a really stylish space that would still suit my tastes (quite eclectic I must add!) In addition it is a really small and compact flat and so I needed some clever thinking on how and what to use, where. I decided to try My Bespoke Room as there service felt very affordable (only £75 per room) and they agreed to come and do an on site visit for a very small additional charge. Using them meant that I could still be in control of what was ordered and my budget, as they just gave me all the tools which saved me loads of time. I was so excited to see it transform that I kept updating them and I really felt they were as excited as I was and really into the project too which was really nice! I got on really well with both of them straight away and was really impressed with what they came up with. It is such a slick an easy service and their virtual moodboard is really cool. It covered everything from paint colours, wallpaper to furniture and finishing touches, including coat hooks and an umbrella stand! This was money well spent and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for some help in designing and furnishing their homes. Well done girls!!!”

“Justine worked with us on our family home that had descended into a chaotic mess of toys, awkward layout and furniture! She spent time with us listening to our concerns and digging deep into our personal interior taste and lifestyle. She presented us with ideas of storage, layout, usability, furniture, colours and materials. She has clever and practical ideas with a very high level of taste and design approach, she is also good considering budget when sourcing. “We have a two-bedroom flat in Wimbledon and are going to totally refurbished the flat. I was trained as a structural engineer myself and as such am naturally interested in buildings. I had a few fair ideas on what was to be done. We invited Arma in to give us a quotation. We had seen another project that they had executed in London. I was most impressed by how they took my ideas and turned upside down and came up with a much-improved layout. Their format of project costs and savings were transparent, which was an added bonus. Overall it looks like they will make up for their professional fees in terms of savings they make on the project, whilst maintaining the same high specifications and keeping to the project timeline agreed.”

“Emilie was brilliant. She did a complete renovation of my Victorian terrace, upstairs and down, including kitchen extension and reviving some original features that had been stripped away. She took my (attempts at explaining) my style and turned it into an actual vision. She gave me solutions to using the space which I had been defeated by and saved me a lot of money on bad furniture decisions. The contractors Emilie brought in were great too. A friendly, hard working team I came to know and like well. Before she got to work, I basically regretted buying my house. The house had so many issues and we didn't have a lot of room in the budget, but she delivered a home I never want to leave. She is very friendly and professional, never lets you feel like you're alone. Highly recommend.”
