Wallspan

We engaged Wallspan to supply and install our kitchen and butlers pantry. The sales consultation went well and he went out of his way to meet us after hours. However, once the contract is signed and they have your money, the assistance stops there! Firstly, we were told that we wouldn't have the kitchen before Christmas so we arranged trades to get the room ready for January. Then they notified us that the kitchen would be delivered on the 4th and installed on the 7th. This is when the problems started. Installation went okay except certain parts could not be completed. We were also not advised that our bench tops wouldn't be ready until end Jan. They were booked in for 12th Jan so we worked to their schedule to complete works and then the stone company didn't turn up. The stone company had communicated this to Wallspan but neither the company or Wallspan passed on this information. We took time off of work for the install to then wait all day. No-one responded to our calls. We were then advised it would be 22nd January. We had to arrange and rearrange trades to fit in with their mis-scheduling, all at extra cost to us because they don't provide plumbers or electricians. The kitchen itself is very poor quality. We have had better quality from IKEA. We have chipped and cracked carcasses, faulty wrap on the cupboard doors and drawers, peeling laminate on the edges of the doors. The hole for the sink in the pantry was cut incorrectly in the stone and our tap hit the wall. We were told to accept the chips and cracks as tolerance by the customer support manager who sighted the faults. Now they are arguing the replacement of the faulty doors and drawers and saying that yet another person needs to inspect. Absolutely shocking service, terrible quality products. We have paid over $67,000 AUD for a poorly constructed kitchen with major faults.

Pressure tactics and rudeness! DO NOT TRUST THEM! Wallspan provides a voucher where the designer is meant to call the manger to redeem the voucher. they have a little act over the phone they play where they are guilting you purchase. My experience i was negotiating price and designer calls manager and is stated that the manager is very angry with us because he has to provide this discount from his KPI's. When it was time to discuss contract i asked for a printed copy of the contract so that i can read and review and the fine print. They told me that they may not provide a contract without paying a 10% deposit. I stated i was not paying without the contract and there is no cool off period or anything they just keep your $$. They told me they can do something dodgy to get me my contract without paying. they signed our name on the contract and added finance of $1 to the contract. We did not sign that contract. I read the fine print and there is no out for the customer only for them. Be careful! When we called the manager next day to discuss this interaction and the un-comfortability he stated "ok". This company is questionably unethical and unprofessional. The manager from Mile End, SA is a disrespectful and unethical human. Please just imagine going into business' with this man and something went wrong with the remodel. How would he fix it. Based on our experience please do not do business' with this company!

We had our girls wardrobes done last year and we were so happy with how it helped us control their mess! So good to have all of their stuff away and neat. As an added bonus they love them because they have white glass they use like a white board. Installer was great and was done with the two robes in about three hours.

Very timely and efficient, didn't have to worry about coordinating everything. Really happy with the result!

Absolutely horrible experience. Buyer beware especially of people at the Keswick showroom in Adelaide, check true local reviews. I went into the showroom and made selections. Designer came to my home and was polite and helpful. But then used high pressure sales tactics in regards to fifty per cent off cabinetry on available only if I signed a contract that day. He told me the contract was subject to finance but this was a lie. The contract contained products different to what I was shown in showroom. Downgraded from high gloss to semi gloss, dishwasher shown to me in drawings but then when missing from contract, I selected stone bench tops but quoted for laminate bench top installation only. Unethical contracts that does not protect the consumer. Payment schedule requests ten per cent on contact sign, thirty per cent on check measure and other sixty per cent before they have even installed kitchen. I have read horror reviews on internet. Company went into liquidation in 2012 poor history that has not changed under new ownership. I was lied to, treated very poorly by this company. I suggest anyone who uses them reads very carefully any contact before they signing. Trades estimates were grossly inadequate. I cancelled contact within a week but to date they have refused to refund my deposit deposit. I am so glad I got out of the contact, my heart breaks for anyone who has built a kitchen with this company and been totally ripped off.
