Long Pond Hearth and Home

I have been going to Long Pond for several years to get Thrive feed for my horses and dog. It is a unique and supetior feed and my horses and dog do ing great on it. I am so grateful to Steve for carrying it and is just 17 miles from my house. The only other place in New England that it is available is in New Hampshire. Steve and Ron are always helpful and it is a pleasure doing business with them

Steve (the owner) was extremely helpful in regards to questions before the purchase of our hot tub and continues to be helpful after. I shopped around and their price was $900 less than their competitors. Highly recommend!!

I was so impressed with Steve and Ron at Long Pond Hearth and Home. We purchased a pellet stove and had never had a wood stove nor a pellet stove. Steve made the purchase and installation so easy. I just can't say enough about him. The installation of the liner was so smooth along with the stove installation. And Steve was there during the whole thing. I bought my Bullfrog A-7 from Long Pond Hearth and Home in early summer 2015. We have now had several months to enjoy it. Background: I had owned another spa for many years that had met with a slow death. Since it was a known thing that I would need to replace it, I had time to ponder many brands to replace it with. Steve was very helpful answering some questions about a year prior. I searched on line options, and several other local options and brands. I finally settled on this model and from Steve for the following reasons. 1. No pressure sales style. 2. Helped me get the options I wanted, with telling me the things that were truly "extras". 3. Helped me sort through other brands weaknesses and strengths. 4. But possibly the biggest selling point. The Bullfrog brand has the best options for jets I can find anywhere for any price. The choice of various JET PACK seats that can be chosen, moved from various locations in the tub, and even buy another option in future should another body part fail that needs special treatment. I tried many jet packs out at long pond, chose a wide range of styles, and have had fun moving them around. Spouse loves sitting in warm water, and having the gentle water fall style jet packs, I usually opt for the heavy blasting! 5. Finally Steve and crew delivered the tub for me and placed it, and I handled the wiring. Only a short delay incurred from supplier getting the unit to Long Pond. Complaints??? Barely any. Possibly surface of inside of tub is so smooth it is a bit slippery. I may apply something to add grip to help avoid falling some day. LB Moosup, CT

After contacting several other spa retailers, we decided to purchase a hot tub from Long Pond Hearth and Home because of Steve's positive attitude, honesty, and responsiveness. We had exceptional service from start to finish. The contractor Steve recommended to build the platform and decking around the hot tub is also incredibly fair and trustworthy. (He even recommended a mason who did top quality work at a reasonable price). I think you can tell a lot about a business by its associates and their character. I would highly recommend Long Pond to anyone looking for high quality products at a fair price with attentive customer service.

I went to Long Pond Hearth and Home in Connecticut to shop for a Bullfrog Hot Tub. They are located about 45 minutes away from my house. They were very helpful and I immediately felt comfortable with them. Note that I did not feel comfortable with my local dealer in Rhode Island. The RI dealer insisted I would need a crane to place it on my deck. Stephen spent a significant amount of time with my wife and myself explaining all the options and features of the tub. I made a video of the access points to my deck to show Stephen. He assured me they would deliver the tub without a crane. He threw in a selection of chemicals along with detailed instructions on their usage as I had never even owned a pool. Stephen entered the order for the tub the next business day and it arrived a few days later. As soon as it arrived Stephen contacted me about immediate delivery. Stephen and the crew arrived promptly on delivery day and had the tub up on my deck and installed the cover all in less than an hour. Note that I did not have to wait around for hours on my day off for the delivery, they were on time. From start to end it was a total pleasure to work with Stephen at Long Pond Hearth and Home. The price for the tub was more than fair, the delivery was safe and quick with no damage to the tub or to my property, they cleaned up all extra packaging materials, they spent time reviewing the features with me. All in all, a really good dealer. I would highly recommend them to anyone. John

We were looking for a hot tub and checked out a couple of different stores. When we went to Long Pond we were impressed with the quality of the product. In addition the knowledge Steve had on the product he was selling was clearly the selling point. Since I purchased my hot tub I also purchased a gas stove and Steve went out of his way to find the specific stove I was looking for. When I am in the market for another product that Long Pond carries that is where I will go.

We are very happy with Long Pond Hearth & Home. Steven and his tech team has been invaluable to us as we update our antique home. Their knowledge and experience helped us in our heating needs while keeping with the charm of an old farmhouse. We would highly recommend them!
