We had enormous confidence in Sarah from the get go when we asked her to redesign our study to create a more usable and functional home office. During the process we ended up with an amazing outdoor decking and seating area, great for socialising and entertaining which none of us had envisaged. The study was also pretty special, and Sarah lent her interior design flair to extending the improvements into our hallway and landing as well as other areas around the house. We’re really looking forward to Sarah helping us with our next project, she always brings bags of enthusiasm and energy to tackling any problems and can tailor expenditure to a given budget without it necessarily costing the earth. We feel lucky to have found Sarah so close to home and she is extremely well connected for all those hard to find trades. We’ve not had to wait months for quality carpentry or decorating whilst working with Sarah, which is a breath of fresh air in itself.

I am so glad I had Sarah to help me with my house extension project. She was always on hand to guide me with everything from furniture choices and placement to paint colours and even helped me dress my wall unit. It was a pleasure to work with Sarah. From the minute she set foot in our Living Room she knew how to transform the space. She developed a theme that 'brought the outside in' which was based on the fact that the beautiful trees outside our living space could be used as a focal point! The colour scheme, layout, choice of furniture were all developed around the nature theme. The result is stunning. Beautiful colours, fabrics, rug, new furniture . As I'm not much of a shopper Sarah did the research and then together we selected the items. This suited me perfectly but Sarah was open to any variation on the research, shopping and selection which was also good. Loving the new fresh living space. Thanks

Sarah is wonderful to work with. Her friendly, energetic, and accommodating style made our entire project a very pleasurable experience indeed. Sarah helped us from the very beginning – early drawings, alternative ideas, creative thoughts resulted in a blueprint that was the foundation for everything. This included briefing the builder and trade folks, to Grosvenor to the Council, given this was a Grade II Eaton Square project. Sarah engaged with everyone, knew everyone’s name, and kept me posted every week on progress. In parallel Sarah sourced all furniture and fittings, art on the walls, curtains and blinds, custom wardrobe designs and so much more. The management and coordination between the furniture suppliers and building contractors was managed entirely by Sarah who hid any complexity behind her glorious smile and can-do attitude. I am proud that the project was completed on time and within budget. The result exceeded our expectations where the reality was better than the final photo shoot on handover. Sarah created a home for us that we love and are extremely proud of.

Sarah has helped us to achieve everything we hoped for and more in re-designing our tricky-shaped living room. Sarah's clever space planning means we now use the whole room and with her encouragement we were far more daring with colour than we would ever have been left to our own devices. Working with Sarah is a positive experience from start to finish. She is always enthusiastic and brimming with ideas and has a real knack for understanding how a space will actually be used rather than just making it look good - although she definitely does that too. We have benefited from Sarah's great network of contacts from curtain makers to cabinet makers. She has commissioned bespoke furniture for us and also come up with really good value options for other pieces and we've really appreciated her keeping a keen eye on the bottom line. She understood from the beginning exactly what we wanted and we've ended up with the very best version of our vision. The best recommendation is that she is now helping us with a big new kitchen extension and whilst not quite yet finished, we all love it.

We recently asked Sarah to help us design and plan an extension to our sitting room. She came with refreshing and practical ideas to completely re-design the space in a way we would never have thought of. She understood our project immediately and gently steered us in a new direction to make maximum use of the space and tailor it to our family needs. Sarah is an excellent interior designer, she is so experienced she knows exactly what colours will work in a space. She is great to work with, very understanding of budget and timeframes, and goes above and beyond what is asked of her. She has great knowledge of high street brands, so her ideas don’t cost a fortune. She managed to help us turn our ex-rental house into a beautiful home by advising on paint schedule, carpets and layout - and we love it! Sarah Finney undertook a major re-design of the ground-floor area of our terrace house. She took our partly-formed ideas and converted these into a complete vision, which has now been realised. The new arrangement, which went far beyond our original ideas, suits our current life-style perfectly. After much discussion and tweaking of the initial plans, Sarah also introduced us to builders who have been as reliable and accommodating as we could have wished, and assisted us in choosing suitable colours, fittings etc. Throughout the building phases, Sarah remained in constant touch, to ensure that everything was being done as per the original design and to the highest specification. At the conclusion of the work, we were struck by how closely the original designs had been brought to life, and we are very happy with “our new home”. This is testament to the depth of knowledge and willingness to elicit her clients’ needs that Sarah brings to all her projects. In conclusion, we are delighted with our newly re-styled home!

Sarah has been absolute joy to work with from start to finish and the results really speak for themselves, I couldn’t be happier. Sarah brought a wealth of experience, an eye for colour, fantastic ideas and a practicality to decisions on matters I hadn’t even thought about. From the outset Sarah was incredibly organised and I loved her ability to bring ideas to life with sketches, to challenge my thinking whether on colours, layouts, furniture and even doors which contributed to a sensitively contemporary feel to my Victorian house, combining a beautifully integrated palette, with comfortable furniture, lighting, etc., I could never have done myself and I am delighted with. Sarah has helped with a number of home-improvement projects over the past few years, as well as putting me in touch with a team who undertook a major loft-conversion. Most recently, Sarah helped me with the complete renovation and refurbishment of my rather dark and gloomy dining-room. This included initial planning for joinery work, replacement of the old curtains with blinds and colour selection for re-painting the room. I now have a much more welcoming and cheerful dining room. The only problem now is that I will have to improve my culinary skills to make more use of the room!

Sarah gave us invaluable direction, advice and ideas on the refurbishment of our house to make better use of living space and add that ‘wow’ factor we were missing. She has transformed our house into a much brighter and modern environment injecting elements of colour with accessories and enhancing my own preference of neutral backdrops with use of warmer tones to complement. Sarah suggested completely switching the kitchen/diner round and raising the ceiling, also installing skylights and a large picture window in front of which we now have our table so meals can be had overlooking the garden and a total transformation with the additional daylight coming in. To add to this she suggested removing the wall between kitchen and living room and install floor to ceiling folding glass doors separating the two that can be pushed back with ease for a completely open plan feel. Sarah recommended paint colours, the layout of the kitchen, flooring and accessories of colours that linked the rooms together. She was always on hand for as much or little input that we wanted. Even with accessories and lighting Sarah presented ideas and recommendations that I would not have explored left to my own devices. I am so glad that we have put many of these into place. Our front room also had an uplift with the layout of furniture, injection of colour and modern lighting. Upstairs Sarah recommended taking a bit from two bedrooms to form an en-suite to the main bedroom with the ingenious addition of a light tunnel which makes it bright and airy. Wardrobes were custom built and low level bedroom furnishings sourced resulting in a very luxe result. Sarah always presented options across a range of costings so that we could consider perhaps paying a little more on one part of the project if we wished and a little less on another. I loved Sarah’s flexible approach in that she would have led as much or little as we wanted and with her enthusiastic and bubbly nature it was always great to get together and review progress, next steps etc.

Sarah has been amazing in our house re-design and I would highly recommend her. We worked with Sarah on everything form overhauling our kitchen, to a complete colour change throughout the house, to interior styling and even a summer house re-design. Sarah had great and creative ideas - and would take time to sketch out layout ideas to really bring the ideas to life. Sarah really pushed our boundaries in terms of the colours we were thinking and also ensured that all of the colours flowed throughout the house - which was important to us. Sarah's colour choices were great and we are so happy with them. Sarah was also crucial in sourcing excellent local contractors and ensured the timings across all of the various projects across the house ran smoothly - so that everything came together. In addition, Sarah really opened our eyes on furnishings and finishing touches, which really pulled everything together!

Sarah is lovely to work with and has a great eye for colour and design. She has helped me style and rework my last two houses (in 2014 and 2019) and this helped me sell the first one really quickly. It's like having a friend at your side who understands what works for you! She can also recommend other professionals and suppliers to suit your individual budget. I can't recommend Sarah highly enough.

It’s been a dream to work with Sarah Finney. She has a creative gift that enables her to walk into a room and innately know the best colourways for it, by determining the light and also how to design and style a room to match your needs and personality. Sarah not only helped us determine every colour in every room in our house, but also re-designed the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and lounge - through from the build, to completion. She is the most approachable, warm and fun person to work with (with us and the builder/trades) and I'm thankful that we were recommended her. She thought about the things we didn't - and took the stress out of the re-furb. I realised at the end of the refurb 'that you don't know, what you don't know' - and that's why you need someone who is proactive and considers everything, holding your hand along the way. That's Sarah. She is very organised, with an attention to detail that literally saved us hundreds of pounds in various aspects of the build.

I asked Sarah for help when we moved to our new family home last summer. We have several things we want to improve on the property with a limited budget. Sarah has been a wonderful designer. She is extremely experienced and practical. She helped us prioritised the projects, designed a new kitchen and selected new hardwood floor, colour scheme as well as furniture ideas quickly and within our budget. Sarah has an keen eye for colour and detail and will make suggestions to suit one's personality and style. She is also very flexible and accommodating about scheduling meetings and allocating time spent on each task. I highly recommend her.

Sarah worked her interior design magic on my holiday apartment in Collioure France. She has enormous creative flair. Her clever use of colour, textiles, mirrors, and accessories transformed the property making it look worthy of a spread in an interiors magazine. She is a joy to work with as she really understands what a client is hoping to achieve, is calm, highly enthusiastic, has great contacts, and she delivers all this within budget and on time. I have had 3 sessions with Sarah during which she has given me great advice on styling the Dining Room and Sitting Room of my new house. Sarah works with you to develop ideas, takes your preferences into account and gives really helpful hints on suppliers. Sarah is reliable, punctual and accessible and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her. In the nicest way, Sarah coaches you to think outside the box and I have been thrilled with the results. Sarah is a wonderful person to work with. She is warm, fun and has SO many ideas. Sarah was instrumental in helping us make our master loft bedroom and ensuite really outstanding. We have also had Sarah advise us on the rest of the house as we have been so impressed. We are so grateful to her for her time, patience and advice throughout the process. I first hired Sarah Finney to design the living/dining room in my 2 bed apartment. This involved choosing a new corner sofa and a dining table and chairs. I would not have chosen the colour Sarah picked for the sofa but I and my family all love it. She also chose a TV stand and sideboard. The layout is particularly good because previously it was hard to see and talk to others now at least 6 people can all see each other and the tv when seated. It was particularly helpful that Sarah knew and took me to different stores and on-line to help choose the furniture. More recently she has organised repainting the flat and replacing the wood flooring throughout. She has help select and display all my paintings and pictures and changed several light fittings. I may change my kitchen and would ask Sarah to design it.

Sarah has a positive, ‘can do’ attitude at all times. Nothing was too much trouble, she really listened to what I was looking to achieve and offered numerous suggestions to encourage me to try different options. She has a wonderful eye for colour and detail and is extremely knowledgeable about sourcing items. She was very patient with my queries and my occasional change of mind! I plan to use her for my next project.

Sarah has helped us with a number of projects in both our old house and new. She has been fantastic. She is able to work to a budget, has re-designed a number of different rooms for us - bathrooms, lounges, kitchens, bedrooms (both kids and adults). Her colour choices are fantastic, and bold and she knows where to spend the money and where bargains can be achieved. She has been very useful at negotiating with suppliers on our behalf, and has been very flexible at working round our busy family schedules. I would not hesitate to recommend her for any type of project - both large and small.

Sarah is just what I needed to spice up our home: she is creative yet practical (am not a fan of ostentatious stuff that doesn’t work with young kids..) and she suggests little changes that have made an enormous difference. One of the best things about her is that she can work within any budget, which I really appreciate. Oh, and she’s one of the happiest people I know!
