Majestik Homes

We purchased our home from Majestik in April 2016. As an omen of what was to come, their realtor didn't bring the keys to closing. In fact, we closed and then about 3 hours later, a maintenance person showed up with the keys as we sat in the driveway with our moving truck. The warranty was difficult to utilize and it required multiple calls, faxes and emails to get anything done. After the one year, we were grateful to be done. In February 2018, we started to smell a musty odor in the house and couldn't figure out what it was. We discovered that the master bathroom was full of mold. After numerous discussions with contractors, plumbers and insurance persons, we determined we had to gut the entire bathroom. During demolition we found numerous instances of builder incompetence. I reached out to the builder multiple times over the course of a few months and received no response. Then over the past few weeks, I had been playing phone and email tag with Amy Grewal. I'm not sure what her position is with the company. In the end, she stated that we were outside our one year warranty time frame and there was nothing they could do to address the issue. As stated to her on the phone and over email, I wasn't asking Majestik to "address" the issue, I was asking for an acknowledgement of the issue as completely preventable on their end. I now, more than ever fully recognize Majestik's unprofessionalism, and inability / unwillingness to stand by their product. As I said, that started Day One. So here we are, leaving negative reviews all over the internet. Buyer beware, I did give them the opportunity to do better.

Very hard to negotiate with this builder, Unwilling to make any changes to home. Wouldn't even put a light over dining table. would not recommend
