As a builder/developer, I've had the pleasure of working with Kristen on several occasions. As a fan of her work, I have walked through her many of projects I am not involved in simply because it's fun to see her talent come to life. Kristen has the unique ability to not only design homes, but run the construction projects too. She demands perfection and the final product is always amazing. When a friend came to me with an ultra-rare "prairie home" vision, I knew there was only one person who could pull it off for them. The home is being built now and it looks incredible. LMNTL DSGN absolutely nailed it.

Kristin Hancock of LMNTL Design is knowledgeable about every aspect of construction and design. She worked closely and attentively with us as our home was being built to ensure that everything we required was done professionally and with the highest quality of craftsmanship. My husband and I have been working with Kristen at LMNTL Design, in conjunction with DJBeam Construction, for a year. Bear with me, there is a bit of background to this story. In late December 2015, our builder, Primrose Homes, went out of business. They'd partially excavated for our home when they halted operations entirely, leaving us with no one working on our home and no options. LMNTL DSGN stepped up to take on this project. We were genuinely worried that no one would take it on, since it had been started by Primrose and legal issues were on the horizon. LMNTL didn't hesitate. In TEN MONTHS, Kristen has built our home. She functions as project manager, budget guru, and designer. She took our project literally from a hole in the ground to a beautiful, fully functioning home in ten months within our budget and made the entire process seamless for us. We negotiated a few problems with subs, an issue here and there with suppliers or materials, and she always professionally presented us with options, costs, and knowledgeable advice. When we had a problem with a subcontractor presenting a bid in a timely fashion, she didn't hesitate to help us find a new one that she felt would be a better fit for our expectations. She happily worked with subs that we brought into the project, such as a home automation group and a pool installer. As a project manager, Kristen works with the utmost integrity and always placed us first. She never fails to return a phone call or an email, and checked with us frequently (including weekly progress updates) to be sure our budget was on track and our expectations were met. As a budget guru, she didn't shy away from telling us that something was out of reach, but also worked to provide us with options that fit. As a designer, she took the time to get to know our sons to help create bedrooms that reflect who they are (not easy with teenage boys) and created a house that works for our entire family. With her design advice, our home has come alive. Kristen and LMNTL DSGN has earned my very highest recommendation.

We've worked with Kristen on many large projects. She is an excellent designer with great ideas. We look forward to many more projects with her in the future!
