Although this company is quite expensive, I would say they are definitely value for money and literally take away the stress that comes with having a kitchen fitted. Chris was extremely helpful and listened to exactly how I envisaged my kitchen then went away and came back with the perfect design. The Kitchen Company employ a team of professionals who each play a part in making your dream kitchen a reality. They take the hassle out of every stage of the project, they were all extremely professional, pleasant and kept my home as tidy as was reasonably possible. Delivery of kitchen units and appliances was prompt and the delivery team covered all floor areas to ensure surfaces were not damaged when setting down boxes. Any rubbish accumulated during each day was either taken away by whoever was working on the day or collected by the The Kitchen Company. I had to wait several months for my Neff ovens as there was a delay with Neff however an oven was loaned to me by The Kitchen Company so that I was still able to cook and as soon as Neff made the oven available the electrician came and installed them. I had expected Chris to return to inspect the work on completion and was quite surprised when he did not arrange a visit. However I would definitely recommend The Kitchen Company to anyone thinking about upgrading their kitchen and would like to say a huge 'Thanks' to the whole team for all their hard work and professionalism.

We had used The Kitchen Company over 35 years ago and decided on them again after looking at many other options. We were happy then and are happy now. With Chris and his team you are in very safe hands. They know what they are doing and our experience from start to finish was excellent. They spend a lot of time getting the details right with you. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Alan the fitter was wonderful too. We are very impressed and so pleased that we went back to them.

We have used them 4 times in total for a variety of projects and we had designers TS and KL on the last 3. The projects were well designed managed and installed and any discussions we had with them during and after the projects were addressed promptly and professionally. On the fourth project we were introduced to CS to do some kitchen work, two study areas. The kitchen work was fine. One of the study work area was not well designed despite several discussions as to requirements and ended up with a worktop which was too narrow and not what was needed and his design was not fit for purpose. In addition the worktop did not look of the right quality as it did a backing which peeled off too easily. The main issue is that it was not possible to address any matters with CS on the study in professional and sensible way as he became defensive straight away. We have spent well over £100k with them over the last 20 years and so additional costs for rectification could have been discussed and agreed but it was clear that CS did not see the bigger picture. We would not be using them again.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m delighted to know that you have been happy with all the previous projects but I’m so sorry that you are not happy on this occasion.
1.As you know, before a project begins, there is a lengthy and detailed design process when you’re presented with dimensioned scale plans, 3D images, as well samples of all materials for your approval. This is also to ensure, as far as possible, any potential problems can be ironed out before work begins.
2.The worktop chosen for your study – as you know, the same as the one we use in our own showroom workstations – was suggested because it is better quality and more durable than the worktop material supplied by the manufacturer, Daval. As it was available in larger sizes than Daval’s own worktop, we were also able to provide you with the configuration you required to accommodate your chair and to give you the large curved corner worktop which could not have been achieved if we had used Daval’s, or indeed, most laminate worktops in this country. I’m sorry if you feel that this advice was simply my being “negative”.
3.Occasionally instances arise unexpectedly where things don’t quite go to plan and this is why I make site visits: I noticed there was an issue with the worktop around the righthand side of the cooker and arranged for it to be corrected immediately. I apologise for not mentioning this at the time. Similarly, I can only apologise for the miscalculation with shelf peg-holes to accommodate your files which, as you know, is being rectified today (27th Feb).
4.I’m only too happy to listen to new design ideas proposed by clients – even after almost 40 years in the business, I’m still able to learn from this process. I also have a responsibility to ensure that the end result accommodates as many of the client’s wishes as possible while also recognising and highlighting any constraints I foresee. We will always accept responsibility for any errors on our part and correct them accordingly.

Right from our initial exploratory meeting with Chris at the Kitchen Company showroom, we knew we were in very competent, experienced hands. He understood our specific design needs completely and worked hard to ensure these were fully realised for us. We have nothing but praise for the different team who helped us at the showroom (special thank you to Mona) and for those who prepped and installed the various aspects of our new kitchen. They were extremely courteous, tidy, hard working and excellent at what they did. It was impressive watching them problem solve to bring about the very best solutions within a helpful timeframe. We are thrilled with the outcome of our kitchen project and the quality of all its aspects is outstanding. We have no hesitation in recommending The Kitchen Company Ltd and wish them all the very best for the future.

I am delighted with my new kitchen which was designed by Chris at The Kitchen Company and installed by them. Chris' attention to detail was amazing and his guidance and patience were really appreciated. All the installation team were friendly and professional throughout the whole process and I would definitely recommend them and would use them again in the future if I should need another kitchen.

I cannot rate The Kitchen Company Uxbridge highly enough. After seeing what they did for my Mum's new kitchen a few years ago, they were our first and only choice for doing ours, even though we are 30 minutes away from Uxbridge. Chris's focus and attention to detail is great and the comms from the team brilliant. The breakdown and removal of the old kitchen and the making good, through to the delivery and install of the new, all went smoothly and it was a real thrill to see it all coming together each day. The Kitchen Company work with established traders and I felt very confident that each of them was doing their best for us and reacting swiftly to any unforeseen challenges that came up. Worth every penny, 10/10.

We're over the moon with our kitchen. The Kitchen Company from start to finish excelled. Chris' attention to details means we have an amazing looking kitchen that is also functional. He understood our needs and provided invaluable guidance on appliances and worktop. Mark's coordination of the fitting was seamless. The delivery guys took care to protect my new wooden floor and also kindly moved my new American style fridge/freezer from the garage to the kitchen. This was over and above service. Paul, the carpenter fitter, was a pleasure to have in our home. He expertly aligned everything and ensured we knew where every instruction manual and spare fitting was being stored. Our only small hitch with the splash-back was resolved quickly and it is now perfectly matched to our worktop. The Kitchen Company was recommended to us by a number of our friends and family and we have no hesitation in highly recommending them ourselves.

From start to finish we have been given an excellent service from Chris and the whole team. When Chris came to design our kitchen we knew we were in good hands. He was very particular in recommending things and helping us get our perfect kitchen design. Alan the fitter was excellent and everyone at the Kitchen company know what they are doing. Chris also recommended some excellent builders to us - JACK and Jim . The finish to the whole project was immaculate and we could not be happier.

My project involved building a new kitchen from scratch in a different room of the house. I was impressed from start to finish by the Kitchen Company. They understood my brief and came up with a design that matched what I wanted, whilst at the same time making suggestions that really moved it on to the next level. The kitchen designer, Chris, really understands about kitchens and I was impressed by the level of detail he had - this really matters when thinking abouot kitchens. The company was the only one to do a site visit before coming up with a design and they also worked well with my builders to ensure all the utlilities were installed in the right place. I also attended a cookery demo at their shop which showed me how all my new appliances would work - thiswas really useful. Overall, I would highly recommend this company - they were a pleasure to work with put alot of emphasis on excellent customer service.

Ken (the designer) was a great help, gave great advice and guidance. He was particularly patient which we really appreciated. Fitting service was smooth with planning team communicating well and fitting being of high quality. Particularly impressive was the aftersales where things like picking up the (normal) small niggly issues were handled particularly well. We are extremely happy with our kitchen and would recommend The Kitchen Company to our friends without a doubt.
