Foley Refinishing

I hired him to spray my bathroom tub, and tile tub enclosure and half walls. About two thirds of the bathroom.(Patrick Foley came to my house during near-demo construction going on. He locked himself in the bathroom for an hour or two, then demanded a check. Immediately, I saw severe issues. He had not cleaned the bathroom, in any way, prior to spraying. I’m talking about an empty room, with plywood on the floor. No sink. No toilet. He didn’t even sweep the floor at the floor line, or wipe the dust off the plumbing fixture, nevermind tape them off. When I asked why he would spray paint without at least doing at least something to clean up the area, he said, “I’m not a maid service”. There were drips, overspray, gaps where he didn’t prep the tile, and of course, lots of dust bits in the coating. And I mean, the entire surface, covered with glaze hovered bits of dust that felt like jagged bits of broken glass. I pointed this out immediately. He said, “just get some fine sand paper and it will wipe right off”. I am a professional painter and the only reason I didn’t do it myself was because of the fumes (asthma). He demanded payment and assured us he would come back to “finish it up”. After a few dozen back and forth messages, going from “I’m on my way” to “Sumply never calling back, I never heard from him again. I ended up hiring another company. They came in to estimate the job, and the guy almost immediately said, “we recommend that you wait until the very end of your remodel to reglaze the tub, to avoid any dust getting in the glaze.” Ultimately, Patrick Foley is not somebody that I would hire to clean my toilet, let alone refinish my tub.

The worst. My tub was chipping and peeling after 1 week. Matt promised to come fix it, made a bunch of excuses and has now blocked my number. He doesn't sand or prep the tubs properly and just rushes through spraying them. Avoid at all costs, there are much better options out there.

I called Foley refinishing and they were very knowledgeable and straight forward, they were right in the ball park on there pricing they showed up right on time they did not leave a mess and my tub and my upstairs stand up shower looks brand new now ! I watched them prep the area and I could tell these guys knew what they were doing. I highly recommend

The last refinishing company I had used was much more expensive and took longer. Within a few months the finish started chipping and cracking. Called Foley refinishing price was good, got there on time and was done quickly. The tub still hasn't cracked or chipped. He said he uses the best paint on the market and it shows , explained the process in full detail, and the tub still looks amazing. I would definitely recommend and use Foley refinishing again

I had a good exprefinish with foley refinishing. I was having my bath tub relglazed and love the way it came out. On top of that dealing with the owner was pleasant as well. He was polite and showed up when he said he was going to. I have no complaints and would deffinitly recomend him.

Terrible job on a tub refinishing. Wouldn't return any calls or emails The paint dried in globs and parts were glossy while others were flat. Washing the tub with a cloth causes it to get caught on particles stuck on the sides and bottom.
