They cut corners and refuse to fix their mistakes. My house is only three and a half years old now and my basement floor has cracked and raised so badly that I lie awake at night worrying about whether or not my house will continue to stand. Three of these cracks are so long and wide now that pieces of cement are actually beginning to crack out of the cracks themselves. I'm dreading the day the dirt starts to come up through them. My back patio has also cracked up so badly now that it already needs to be re-poured. I shouldn't worry though cause Elite's contractor, Bill Thurston, told me "cement cracks". They cut costs somewhere on the plumbing in this house. When I turn on more than one faucet, the pressure drops significantly. If I'm in the shower and somebody flushes the toilet, the pressure dies out. I had a plumber come change the pressure regulator and tank, but that fixed nothing. That same plumber told me that the piping installed throughout the house is most likely too small in diameter which would cause this problem. I may need to have all the piping replaced. I brought this up to Bill early on and he said he'd get it fixed, but later abandoned my entire project and refused my phone calls. I paid extra for a memory foam carpet pad and didn't get it. Carpet tacks are sticking up everywhere cutting my feet. A baseboard is missing. My garage door is extremely loud. Whenever I brought up these problems, they brushed me aside. Don't hire them! You'll regret it!

We have been in our house now and Elite Craft Homes have taken care of any concerns we have had from the get go. The owner Jerry is down to earth and understands what you want with the means you have to do it with. The build went a little longer than promised but not enough to worry about. Communications were always there. The good and bad! Our supervisor, Bill has been stand up from the first moment. Truly! I feel he really cares for the home owners and takes pride in making sure the house is built correctly and or is fixed right. Shelly, the person who handles all of our selections, was perfect. My wife and I got along very well with her and she helped us make some great selections for our hardware for our new home. We have had a few problems with the home, but like I mentioned earlier, they have been on it right away without delay trying to correct the concerns. Thanks Elite!

Thank You Elite Craft Homes!!!!! We had a great experience in hiring this company and then watching every step of our house be constructed from digging the foundation to the finish work. We found this Company to be honest and trustworthy (a big deal to us). Being allowed to do some sweat equity was a great benefit to us, it allowed us to have the things we wanted and be within budget. Big thanks to the subs you contract with, all were very respectful and helpful to allow us to give input to our wishes and taste. A special thanks to Scott (superintendent) for a great caring attitude to help the customer when ever he could to make things correct when things could of gone the other way. He really does know what customer service is all about. We always had a welcome from Trent and Shelly in the office and a willingness to get the job done. This is a great company and a fantastic team of professionals! We started from scratch to build our home and they had the resources and capabilities to assist us through the entire process. Many times I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of work of their subcontractors. It was a great experience and I would return to them for any future projects.

I have had an amazing experience working with Jerry Preston and the staff at Elite Craft Homes. From the beginning of choosing a plan, to them handing us the keys, has been an overall great experience! It's been wonderful working with people who are committed to excellence and strive to give the best possible experience building your new home. We went through 2 years of looking for a builder that would give us the quality but one that had all the square footage we wanted. We could never find that balance until we met with Jerry. We contracted with Elite Craft Home to build a house for us in 2013-14 and took occupancy in early May of 2014. Our experience with them was exceptional. We were living in Wyoming at the time and they made special efforts to minimize the number of times we would need to travel to UT for building related issues. Upon completion and after occupancy we had several minor problem. Their attention to these problems was immediate and more than satisfactory. We recommend them highly for both the quality of their work and the professionalism of their team.
