Im a landscape contractor and worked on laurens designs for almost 10 years. Her design style is very well thought out and very talented. She is very pleasant to work with, you will get good vibes the moment you meet her, she is always helpful in answering questions and responding to emails texts etc... she has worked on many high end homes and my dad who is also a contractor has worked on many of her designs. I work with several well known designers and architects but lauren is by far the friendliest and most pleasant person to work with. As a licensed landscape contractor i can 100% highly recommend lauren dunn for all your design and especially plant and botanical design needs.

Lauren Dunn is not only talented as a designer but is extremely flexible and responsive to the individual client when creating a garden plan. We hired Lauren to redesign the dated and unattractive landscape on a house we purchased. We wanted a low-maintenance, water-wise garden front and back. Almost everything was torn up, including the hardscape, and Lauren listened to all our concerns about what kind of pavers to use, how to change the footprint of certain areas, how to plan around tricky lighting conditions, where to place lights, where to place containers, how to plan for future growth and where to leave space for seasonal color. She enthusiastically implemented our ideas, such as tucking edibles and herbs among the anchoring decorative plant choices as well as obtaining a hard-to-find plant that I requested. Lauren with good humor tolerated a lot of anxious questions and fretting on our part, too! The plan was revised several times, which Lauren assured us was typical for the process. At all times she was trusted to have the ultimate expertise and "vision" to honestly share with us her opinion of how, artistically, the final entire project would look. She referred us others who did the lighting, irrigation and planting itself; Lauren continued to work closely with that contractor to assure a smooth execution of her plan (there was no "handing off" or pointing fingers at other people if a problem might arise). This speaks to a lot of integrity and professionalism. It all looks beautiful! Highly recommended.

Our work together was truly a collaboration. I had collected ideas, knew what I wanted to see as as an end result and Lauren made it happen. She knew what would work, added her suggestions, stayed within budget and I couldn't be more pleased (and so are the neighbors!). We get many compliments and I love giving her referrals. Everything has grown in beautifully and is low maintanence, just as we requested. She was here everyday of the project and oversaw every step of the way.

Our home's original landscaping was in need of a significant update after 15 years. We chose Dunn Gardens after a referral from a friend and our meeting with Lauren. We were not disappointed. Lauren worked with our existing plan but added a number of new elements and simplified others. She not only provided the plan but worked with the suppliers and installers to make sure we had the healthy and appropriate plants and the plan was executed correctly. Recently we worked on a project that turned out to be a huge success however it didn't start out that way. Although design development and hardscape/masonry design were successful, it was a special touch through planting that we needed. For most of our projects the plant palette comes together rather quickly however this time we were a bit stumped.
