I hired Davis Audio to plan, wire, and install a home video and Sonos music system in an older apartment I was renovating. They did a fantastic job and the project came in on time and with complete pricing accuracy. Their staff is top notch: professional, knowledgable, and polite. I have worked with 4 different A/V companies over the years and Davis Audio is the best, by far. Dave Mandel was my project manager and he was fantastic to work with. My emails were responded to immediately, and every meeting & appointment was on time. They were the most professional and easiest trade I have had the pleasure of hiring. Would recommend them without hesitation. A+++

Davis did a great job for our home audio needs. From the quote where they walked us through all our options, to finishing the job and doing a full training on the system.

David and team were professional, helpful, courteous and all around great. I felt like they had great recommendations on equipment and were great at answering my questions and making sure that the system met all my needs. After the initial proposal, when David came in under my estimated budget, we had a conversation about areas that we could potential upgrade on but he was honest and thoughtful in keeping the proposal mostly as is. My only things that could be improved upon are communication leading up to the install (a little sparse, but they always showed up right on time), and the install took almost double the time they had estimated (2 or 2.5 days turned out to be more like 4 days). The latter was also okay, since I'm able to work from home often. Now that everything is in, it looks great and - more importantly - sounds amazing. I'm really happy with the work they did. And their support in troubleshooting any minor issues should not be overlooked. I definitely don't feel lost on an island now the install is done and they're gone. "A" experience.

I would like to preface this by saying that I NEVER make recommendations online, HOWEVER Davis Audio & Video is one of the most OUTSTANDING A/V installers I have ever seen. We had them put in-wall speakers on three floors (living room, outside patio, office and kitchen), wall mount 2 large TV's, Sonos system - a total update to equipment, etc...I know they do much larger jobs, but the efficiency and thought that went into our system is just remarkable. David's installation team, could be referred to as engineers-they were THAT good. Fast, extremely capable and phenomenally respectful they finished everything in about a day. They circumnavigated any issues with the greatest of ease...truly impressive. They were very punctual (I work in finance, so I have no tolerance for tardiness) and not once did I have to wait for them. They worked around my schedule - came in on short notice, weekends, etc... David personally came to my home throughout the entire process, ensuring our comfortability with the install. He also sat there with me showing me how to use everything when it was done, and reinforced that I could call him anytime with questions. Other companies should take a page out of Davis Audio & Video's book and learn how to treat their customers. Their customer service and expertise are beyond reproach - in fact, I am already planning the next phase for the system. It would be a mistake to choose someone else over these guys. I look forward to working with them again soon.

I asked Davis Audio & Video to help solve a series of entertainment and audio needs that were pretty unique to my set up. Not only did David, the principal invest lots of time up front to understand my lifestyle needs, he proposed a very thorough set of solutions with options. His representative, Mike, came to do the install, and spent the entire day, not just delivering the goods, but troubleshooting, cleaning and training me on the mechanics so that I could be better informed --even though the solution (Sonos audio, a new remote system, and a new smart tv) is quite user friendly. I am so happy with the outcome. i wish I had found Davis Audio & Visual years ago.

I found Davis Audio through a friend who had hired them, and I am very glad I did. I had David come out to give an estimate on setting up a sound system at my new condo in lincoln square - not a huge project, but i felt like they took care of me throughout the process. david is extremely knowledgable and gave me a variety of options based on our conversations. prices were actually very reasonable compared to what my friends told me they paid to get their systems. i highly recommend
