Being a contractor myself I know the tremendous value in reviews. After researching for many weeks we found Dale Waldo who was totally perfect for our project. We have a 1957 custom Cinderella home in Cowan Heights. Our home is in restored in original condition and we needed the landscape to fit the home. We had our front and backyard completely redone. Dale designed everything from all the hardscape, cement driveways, patio, deck, walkways, etc. to the softscape, plants, trees, lighting etc. Dale helped us find excellent contractors to do the installation. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the final results of the project. Absolutely beautiful. Dale was always available for any questions we had. A true professional. Thank you Dale for an Outstanding job!! We Highly recommend Dale Waldo Landscape Architect.

We are rebuilding a home that was lost in a wildfire. Our project required compliance with very strict county and city regulations regarding what could be planted where as well as material to be used for any structures. Our architect recommended Dale for our landscape and yard design which required a level of detail that we never imagined. Dale incorporated our existing water statues and art into the design. He provided a number of design ideas that were beautiful while compiling with all the rules and regs. We were so impressed with his creativity that he is now working on designing our pool. In addition to his creativity and practicality, Dale is a true pleasure to work with.

Dale Waldo is a consummate professional. His design for our landscape was exactly what he had hoped for down to the last detail, Not only do we love what Dale designed for us, the entire experience of working with Dale was 100% positive. He was proactive, responsive, easy going and really, just a great guy. We would definitely recommend Dale to anyone needing a landscape architect.

DWLA was fantastic in all aspects. Helped design, plan, and research for our new guest house and main home. Dale also helped with the vetting process of securing the right pool builder for us.

DWLA listened to our needs and provided a beautiful contemporary design for our front and back yards that was both functional and practical. The attention to detail regarding the topography, drainage, lighting, irrigation, plants, materials and finishes was first rate. Dale's recommended contractors were all great. It's been a year since the project was complete and everything looks wonderful and functions as it should. The backyard is an oasis of calm and we have not stopped marveling at our beautiful spaces. We engaged DWLA to provide concept and working drawings for a flat, 50 x 15’ yard area and adjoining 50 x 20’ slope. The project was difficult as the site was small, difficult to access and the design needed to complement 1930’s architecture. Dale approached the project with enthusiasm and quickly provided detailed drawings that included the planting of a small orchard, water feature, planter and two sitting areas. Additionally, Dale provided lighting plans for both areas. We ultimately chose just to proceed with the orchard and a small landing area on the upper slope. We couldn’t be more pleased the new landscaping looks like it was what was originally intended. DWLA made our dreams a reality!
