We installed the dual pitch Vitral rooflight on the Tremenheere Sculpture Park gallery project and worked alongside the great team at Carpenter Oak to deliver this. Having worked on a couple of projects with Carpenter Oak, we can recommend their complete professionalism and eye for detail. I would have no hesitation in working with them again.

We have worked with and alongside Carpenter Oak on several projects. One in particular was a large Tudor style timber framed extension, We were involved in the designs and worked on the interior joinery, doors and windows. They were very professional and a pleasure to deal with and the work was of excellent quality.

We, van Ellen + Sheryn Ltd., are a company of Architects, located in Devon. Carpenter Oak are the 'go-to' specialist Oak framers in the South West and so they were the obvious choice when we needed a bespoke frame for a sensitive site. From start to finish Adam and his team were a pleasure to work with. Their attention to detail was exemplary, with a real passion for their craft and a genuine sense of pride. Before writing this, I wanted to find out when we first approached Carpenter Oak and after searching my emails, found the first communication was 28th March 2012! Our frame has just been completed as of last week. What happened in between those dates was mainly searching for the right plot of land and going through the process of purchasing and planning. We were always sure we would use Carpenter Oak as we loved their ethos. The fact that the frames were really handmade and hand finished using the very best quality oak. Yes, we did get other companies to quote but not only were Carpenter Oak way ahead with their friendliness and customer service, when compared to others, their design included more oak than any other and that's what we wanted - a house that would show off the beauty of the wood. The actual week on site was amazing to watch and we couldn't stay away from site, wanting to soak it all in. The guys were amazing and SO calming to be around. We're not even halfway there with the build yet, but if we were to ever do this again, it would be Carpenter Oak I would speak to first and say - what shall we build next?

With Carpenter Oak you're not just a client, you become part of the family! We turned up unexpectedly at the wrong time for our meeting and were taken under the wing of the carpenters themselves. Mugs of tea, bowls of water for our dogs, humour, a great smell of oak and demonstration of their skill and passion sold Carpenter Oak to us more than any sales presentation could ever do. And a year or more later nothings changed, great on site, flexible with their designs, care for their products passionately and always get back to you. Highly recommended.
