4J's Enterprise

I hired 4J's Enterprise to Install my Kitchen Cabinets the person that came to install them was very professional and very neat. He did a excellent job with my kitchen. I would highly recommend them.

I had kitchen cabinets & office cabinets installed by Four J's Enterprises. At first the job was off to a great start, but as it went on there were a lot of mistakes that a seasoned professional should not have made when measuring my kitchen for the cabinet install. Due to this we had to reorder cabinets and have our granite adjusted accordingly. We overlooked this fact and pressed on, but the mistakes and excuses kept coming. We have been at the end of the job for over a month now and we are still waiting for a lot of loose ends to be completed. Such as missing pieces of my backsplash that were not put back. Places that have not been grouted. The dishwasher has come loose from the cabinet twice. Drawers & doors that need adjusting. Crown moulding that was not completed. Waiting for soft close hinges to be installed, etc. My calls & texts have gone unanswered for two weeks now, so we have decided that we are done with Four J's Enterprises. Only a job that is completed the correct way is a job well done?

4J's Enterprise was a great company to work with .. the helped us install our Cabinets we had purchased.. they were efficient and did things in a timely manner.. We would definitely recommend 4J's for any cabinet work..

4J's enterprise is a locally owned family partnership of contractors/subcontractors focusing on construction and renovation in San Antonio Texas and the surrounding area. I hired 4J's on recommendation from the company where I purchased my cabinets for my kitchen renovation (see photos). I had a few companies submit a bid, but what I appreciated about 4J's was the fair price, as well as the ability to set concrete dates and thoroughness in scheduling. I was told the demolition guy, Richard, would be there on these dates, then the cabinet guy, Joseph, would come in and begin his work, during this time Roland, who was overseeing the projects, took my fiancee and myself to choose our granite and quoted me what I thought was a fantastic price for the granite we chose compared as well as the fabrication to what we had seen on HGTV and remodel websites. Once the cabinet guy, Joseph, was done installing the cabinets, the granite was delivered by the fabricator and installed. Joseph then created and installed all the drawers and cabinet doors. Another guy installed the undermount sink prior to the granite install, and hooked up the sink and hooked it to the dishwasher as well. What I liked about this process is that the entire time Roland and his team remained respectful and courteous. They offered their professional opinion in matters and suggested ways to get things done. Roland would actually drop by if not every day at one point every other day to check in on the progress and discuss what would come next. For instance, when we wanted to install the drop down lighting where the soffits used to be, Roland called two or three guys to get estimates before bringing anyone over. I also appreciated the efforts of Joseph, who worked not only our house but a few other houses simultaneously. There was an issue with our cabinet delivery because one was on backorder and so Joseph did everything he could and then went to a different job while we waited about a week to get the new cabinet. Once that cabinet was in, Joseph fit us into a schedule (i suppose spring time is the heavy season for renovation) and worked a few longer hour days to ensure or kitchen kept improving and would remain functional as the process went along. Because of my former kitchen's old design, Joseph had to make a few design ideas in order to get an extra 6-inches between the stove and the pantry, which he sealed eloquently with butcher block providing a nice look to the area around the stove. As I was completing this project on a budget, Roland, Joseph, and Richard all gave me ideas on what to do when it camed time for me to install backsplash, paint the room, and finish the loose ends where chair railing and floor trim needed to be reinstalled, where i could get these materials, etc (I'm a first time homebuyer). Also, I believe their plan was 40% up front and then the rest was due at completion of the project. I could have paid them all up front but it was nice to have the option to pay once satisfied with the final job. I was quite satisfied with their work, I recommended them each time a fellow employee or friend wants to do kitchen renovations, and will undoubtedly give them a call should i ever move. Which reminds me, I wanted to turn that former desk area in the kitchen into a wet bar....

This is a family run business with integrity and high quality craftsmanship. We were extremely happy with their work. We have already been thinking of future projects we can bring them back to do. After several bad experiences with other contractors, we couldn't have been happier. They did a full kitchen remodel for us. They did a beautiful job, troubleshooted problems before we even knew they existed, called providers we had some issues receiving product for, showed up on time, every day, until the job was done. Their price was one of the most reasonable ones we encountered too. I don't have a bad word to say.

I am extremely pleased with the workmanship and customer service provided to us by 4J's. They stayed on top of things with the cabinet supplier and helped to get our missing items in and installed. They return your calls promptly and they are very reasonable. Their workmanship is top-notch and it appears they can do just about anything when it comes to cabinet installation. BOTTOM LINE: If you want to hire a someone to do a great job without any headaches at a reasonable price - these are the guys!

I contacted 4J's after weeks of frustration about installing butcher block countertops. I did have to jump through a few hoops to finally find them, but when I did I was so grateful. Roland and his team were so professional. They were able to return my call quickly and provide an estimate within a day. They also were so helpful with information on where to purchase the materials, and how to care for them in the future. Installation went smoothly and quick. We are so happy with job, professionalism, and craftsmanship.
