UserThe A5 Aluminum Series was used throughout the home. The dual pane windows provide cost-effective durability in the temperate climate. The A5 Series boasts a larger continuous thermal break, high-performance spacers, multiple air seals, and low iron glass, which helped facilitate the Passive House standards. For a design where clean lines are key, the thinner profile frame furnishes the contemporary home with an effortless style. The double-pane glazing coupled with European operability is the perfect combination in creating a contemporary home-design worth noting. The homeowners absolutely love the form and function of their tilt-turn windows!

309designThis beautiful, functional bathroom for the family's two daughters is a light, bright and modern space. The patterned tile floor speaks to a european influence, while the clean lined vanity mirrors the hue. The custom floating maple shelves give a clean, modern and functional storage component in a beautiful way. The frameless shower enclosure features white oversized tile with white penny rounds on the floor and the shampoo niche. A soothing space for a busy family.
Haven Design and ConstructionThe guest bath design was inspired by the fun geometric pattern of the custom window shade fabric. A mid century modern vanity and wall sconces further repeat the mid century design. Because space was limited, the designer incorporated a metal wall ladder to hold towels.
The Idea CompanyWe enjoyed brightening and opening this space for our client who selected beautiful finishes.

RIKB Design BuildThis stunning compact master bath features many neutral, yet classic finishes. The surrounding simple white subway tile ties into the natural marble floor tile, soft gray vanity and paint color. The use of niches and recessed medicine cabinet really enhances the storage and functionality of the space.
123 Remodeling Inc.Our design intent for both bathrooms was to create a contemporary, clean look that matched the high-rise unit.
For the Guest Bathroom, we carefully chose a shower tile that had a variation with different white and grey hues that not only ties in with the rest of the finishes but also further enhances movement and when flipped vertically, gives the impression of a taller shower.

Kowalske Kitchen & BathThis Waukesha bathroom remodel was unique because the homeowner needed wheelchair accessibility. We designed a beautiful master bathroom and met the client’s ADA bathroom requirements.
Original Space
The old bathroom layout was not functional or safe. The client could not get in and out of the shower or maneuver around the vanity or toilet. The goal of this project was ADA accessibility.
ADA Bathroom Requirements
All elements of this bathroom and shower were discussed and planned. Every element of this Waukesha master bathroom is designed to meet the unique needs of the client. Designing an ADA bathroom requires thoughtful consideration of showering needs.
Open Floor Plan – A more open floor plan allows for the rotation of the wheelchair. A 5-foot turning radius allows the wheelchair full access to the space.
Doorways – Sliding barn doors open with minimal force. The doorways are 36” to accommodate a wheelchair.
Curbless Shower – To create an ADA shower, we raised the sub floor level in the bedroom. There is a small rise at the bedroom door and the bathroom door. There is a seamless transition to the shower from the bathroom tile floor.
Grab Bars – Decorative grab bars were installed in the shower, next to the toilet and next to the sink (towel bar).
Handheld Showerhead – The handheld Delta Palm Shower slips over the hand for easy showering.
Shower Shelves – The shower storage shelves are minimalistic and function as handhold points.
Non-Slip Surface – Small herringbone ceramic tile on the shower floor prevents slipping.
ADA Vanity – We designed and installed a wheelchair accessible bathroom vanity. It has clearance under the cabinet and insulated pipes.
Lever Faucet – The faucet is offset so the client could reach it easier. We installed a lever operated faucet that is easy to turn on/off.
Integrated Counter/Sink – The solid surface counter and sink is durable and easy to clean.
ADA Toilet – The client requested a bidet toilet with a self opening and closing lid. ADA bathroom requirements for toilets specify a taller height and more clearance.
Heated Floors – WarmlyYours heated floors add comfort to this beautiful space.
Linen Cabinet – A custom linen cabinet stores the homeowners towels and toiletries.
Style
The design of this bathroom is light and airy with neutral tile and simple patterns. The cabinetry matches the existing oak woodwork throughout the home.
Jones Design AssociatesThe second guest bathroom features black and white veined granite, white Calacatta Carrara marble, art deco inspired frosted glass sconces, and a large deco mirrors with custom walnut flat front cabinetry and a frameless glass shower with a teak bench.
Metropolis Drafting and Construction IncThe house's second bathroom was only half a bath with an access door at the dining area.
We extended the bathroom by an additional 36" into the family room and relocated the entry door to be in the minor hallway leading to the family room as well.
A classical transitional bathroom with white crayon style tile on the walls, including the entire wall of the toilet and the vanity.
The alcove tub has a barn door style glass shower enclosure. and the color scheme is a classical white/gold/blue mix.
