A former Broadway actress turned sustainable building products expert, blogger and founder of EcoHaven, Vail believes that “good design must go beyond comfort and aesthetics to include responsibility for our planet’s well-being.” Her California-inspired, 3-bedroom, hillside residence, which she shares with her husband and children, was completed in November 2011.
