This project was not only full of many bathrooms but also many different aesthetics. The goals were fourfold, create a new master suite, update the basement bath, add a new powder bath and my favorite, make them all completely different aesthetics. Primary Bath-This was originally a small 60SF full bath sandwiched in between closets and walls of built-in cabinetry that blossomed into a 130SF, five-piece primary suite. This room was to be focused on a transitional aesthetic that would be adorned with Calcutta gold marble, gold fixtures and matte black geometric tile arrangements. Powder Bath-A new addition to the home leans more on the traditional side of the transitional movement using moody blues and greens accented with brass. A fun play was the asymmetry of the 3-light sconce brings the aesthetic more to the modern side of transitional. My favorite element in the space, however, is the green, pink black and white deco tile on the floor whose colors are reflected in the details of the Australian wallpaper. Hall Bath-Looking to touch on the home's 70's roots, we went for a mid-mod fresh update. Black Calcutta floors, linear-stacked porcelain tile, mixed woods and strong black and white accents. The green tile may be the star but the matte white ribbed tiles in the shower and behind the vanity are the true unsung heroes.

Powder room with a twist. This cozy powder room was completely transformed form top to bottom. Introducing playful patterns with tile and wallpaper. This picture shows the green vanity, circular mirror, pendant lighting, tile flooring, along with brass accents and hardware. Boston, MA.

The original floor plan had to be restructured due to design flaws. The location of the door to the toilet caused you to hit your knee on the toilet bowl when entering the bathroom. While sitting on the toilet, the vanity would touch your side. This required proper relocation of the plumbing DWV and supply to the Powder Room. The existing delaminating vanity was also replaced with a Custom Vanity with Stiletto Furniture Feet and Aged Gray Stain. The vanity was complimented by a Carrera Marble Countertop with a Traditional Ogee Edge. A Custom site milled Shiplap wall, Beadboard Ceiling, and Crown Moulding details were added to elevate the small space. The existing tile floor was removed and replaced with new raw oak hardwood which needed to be blended into the existing oak hardwood. Then finished with special walnut stain and polyurethane.

Who doesn’t love a jewel box powder room? The beautifully appointed space features wainscot, a custom metallic ceiling, and custom vanity with marble floors. Wallpaper by Nina Campbell for Osborne & Little.

This elegant traditional powder room has little bit of a contemporary edge to it with the unique crystal wall sconces added to the mix. The blue grass clothe wallpaper has a sparkle of gold peaking through just enough to give it some shine. The custom wall art was done by the home owner who happens to be an Artist. The custom tall wall paneling was added on purpose to add architecture to the space. This works perfectly with the already existing wide crown molding. It carries your eye down to the new beautiful paneling. Such a classy and elegant powder room that is truly timeless. A look that will never die out. The carrara custom cut marble top is a jewel added to the gorgeous custom made vanity that looks like a piece of furniture. The beautifully carved details makes this a show stopper for sure. My client found the unique wood dragon applique that the cabinet guy incorporated into the custom vanity. Contemporary Powder Room: The use of a rectangular tray ceiling, full height wall mirror, and wall to wall louvered paneling create the illusion of spaciousness in this compact powder room. A sculptural stone panel provides a focal point while camouflaging the toilet beyond. Casa Nevado, en una pequeña localidad de Extremadura: La restauración del tejado y la incorporación de cocina y baño a las estancias de la casa, fueron aprovechadas para un cambio radical en el uso y los espacios de la vivienda. El bajo techo se ha restaurado con el fin de activar toda su superficie, que estaba en estado ruinoso, y usado como almacén de material de ganadería, para la introducción de un baño en planta alta, habitaciones, zona de recreo y despacho. Generando un espacio abierto tipo Loft abierto. La cubierta de estilo de teja árabe se ha restaurado, aprovechando todo el material antiguo, donde en el bajo techo se ha dispuesto de una combinación de materiales, metálicos y madera. En planta baja, se ha dispuesto una cocina y un baño, sin modificar la estructura de la casa original solo mediante la apertura y cierre de sus accesos. Cocina con ambas entradas a comedor y salón, haciendo de ella un lugar de tránsito y funcionalmente acorde a ambas estancias. Fachada restaurada donde se ha podido devolver las figuras geométricas que antaño se habían dispuesto en la pared de adobe. El patio revitalizado, se le han realizado pequeñas intervenciones tácticas para descargarlo, así como remates en pintura para que aparente de mayores dimensiones. También en el se ha restaurado el baño exterior, el cual era el original de la casa.
