Somme

The most important room in the house. We have merged the basin area, shower, robe and toilet to create one open, light-filled spacious area. The space focuses on nature, as does the rest of the design. During the day, shadows come through the glass toilet wall; at night a strip light over the glass make it glow warmly. The beach breeze flows through this space, enlivening it. I could talk about this space all day. Photo: Alex Reinders
