Our client for this project is a financier who has a beautiful home in the suburbs but wanted a second home in NYC as he spent 2-4 nights a week in the city. He wanted an upscale pied-à-terre that was soothing, moody, textural, comfortable, and contemporary while also being family-friendly as his college-age children might use it too. The apartment is a new build in Tribeca, and our New York City design studio loved working on this contemporary project. The entryway welcomes you with dark gray, deeply textured wallpaper and statement pieces like the angular mirror and black metal table that are an ode to industrial NYC style. The open kitchen and dining are sleek and flaunt statement metal lights, while the living room features textured contemporary furniture and a stylish bar cart. The bedroom is an oasis of calm and relaxation, with the textured wallpaper playing the design focal point. Планировочное решение получилось следующим. При входе сделали угловой высокий шкаф до потолка, который заменил гардеробную. Кровать спрятали в нише за конструкцией шкафа. Большой желтый диван, выбранный клиентом, занял место в зоне гостиной у окна. Стен не сносили, поэтому кухня осталась изолированной, и там продумали функциональное наполнение.

Photographer Derrick Godson Clients brief was to create a modern stylish interior in a predominantly grey colour scheme. We cleverly used different textures and patterns in our choice of soft furnishings to create an opulent modern interior. Main Guest Bedroom includes designer wallpaper, made to order designer deep buttoned velvet headboard and matching bed base. We also added a bed end bench and stunning bedside cabinets and dressing table. A statement pendant and bedside lamps were chosen. Ochre was chosen as an accent colour for our throws and custom made cushions. The windows were fitted with remote controlled blinds and beautiful handmade curtains and custom poles. A luxurious carpet was chosen for warmth and comfort.

This Reston Virginia Condo remodel required us to bring every room up to date. We provided the new wood plank laminate flooring with a cork underlayment for maximum comfort and sound absorption. The client requested that we turn the second bedroom into an office space. We lined the wall with semi-custom cabinetry, a new ceiling fan and a built out custom closet to store books and office supplies. The adjacent bathroom shower walls and floors are lined with polished marble floor tile and new chrome plumbing fixtures. The new grey vanity and quartz counters compliment the new grey zigzag accent marble tile. The master bedroom received a full overhaul as well including a custom velvet headboard lined with espresso wood, new nightstands and dresser, 2 new pendant lamps in front of the new espresso wall mirrors. We were sure to incorporate new LED lighting throughout the condo including smart home enabled Wi-Fi controlled lighting.

Именно поэтому так важно тщательно продумать дизайн спальни. Спокойные тона, удобный спальный гарнитур, комфортная кровать — что еще нужно, чтобы хорошенько отдохнуть. Если вы ещё не определились с концепцией дизайна, её подскажут красивые фото спальни. Готовясь к ремонту и продумывая новый интерьер спальни, учтите потребности всех, для чьего отдыха отведено это пространство. Думайте, прежде всего, о своих желаниях, а не о современных трендах. Делая ремонт спальни, очень важно продумать место для кровати — близкое расположение к двери или окну могут нарушить ваш сон, однако и это можно исправить, подобрав плотные шторы или экраны для спальни. Кровать в спальне является главной составляющей, так что уделите ее выбору достаточно внимания.

Как выбрать отделку, мебель и декор для спальни?

Выбор цвета спальни — личное дело каждого, однако лучше отдать предпочтение спокойным тонам, которые не будут действовать раздражающе на нервную систему. Яркие стены в спальне повышают настроение по утрам, однако ночью они могут мешать уснуть. Цветным и пестрым может быть все, что легко убрать — например, декоративные подушки. Даже если вы — владелец маленькой спальни, обязательно запланируйте пару выключателей у входа и рядом с изголовьем кровати. Не помешает диммер (возможность уменьшить яркость света в комнате). Особенно это уместно, если у вас нет отдельной лампы-ночника. Любые мелкие вещицы, которые ассоциируются у вас с уютом, будут уместны. Но не перегружайте ими спальную комнату.
