The bricks that make up the pierced brick wall were collected by the owner from a cotton mill in Cherryville, North Carolina which was built in 1880. The stacked rock that was used to make the waterfall for the swimming pool came from Western North Carolina. The living room, dining room, den, and the master bedroom all open out to the walled courtyard with the spectacular swimming pool with stacked rock waterfalls. Cottage 204 enjoys a location on the corner of West 28th St. and Sea Island Drive. This comfortable one story brick cottage offers spacious living areas. The large living room has a fireplace with gas logs. With the exception of the den, which has parquet floors, the entire house has terrazzo floors. The owner tells me that the second floor attic area is large enough to add additional bedrooms and baths if so desired.
