This black and white compact powder room is inspired by Keith Haring. Using ceramic tile with his designs makes for an "artful loo." The red accents highlight the whimsical aspects.

The existing bathroom in the ADU was cramped and did not match the homeowner’s personal design style. The concrete slab addition allowed us to enlarge the bathroom to fit a large walk-in shower. Keeping the same overall layout allowed the homeowner to save money on plumbing. To match the modern black windows and doors, the homeowner chose matte black Kohler shower and sink fixtures. A new larger white pedestal sink and hex tile in arctic white beautifully complement the Florentine Carrara marble tiles on the walls and shower ceiling. The black mirror pops against the clean white walls, and the entire room is well lit with a gold decorative fixture and recessed lighting.

We went out of our galaxy with our sleek custom mural that covers the wall opposite the door. We added beautiful glass pendant lighting with crystal clusters at either side of an elegantly bold and glossy white tapered pedestal sink. Funky geometric mirrors that were original to the space were hung on adjacent walls and made our galaxy go on and on.

Renovations made this house bright, open, and modern. In addition to installing white oak flooring, we opened up and brightened the living space by removing a wall between the kitchen and family room and added large windows to the kitchen. In the family room, we custom made the built-ins with a clean design and ample storage. In the family room, we custom-made the built-ins. Bathrooms by Oldham was engaged to re-design the bathroom providing the much needed functionality, storage and space whilst keeping with the style of the apartment.

The guest bathroom has a walk-in shower with glass door and panels. The flooring is stone with radiant heating. The wall is black-and white Spanish tile. The dry area has back-painted glass walls, a cylindrical pedestal sink and wall mounted faucets. Photography: Geoffrey Hodgdon

This 1920's Spanish style home needed an upgrade from it's 1970's remodel. The homeowner decided to work from a design she found on some vintage sconces shown here. All of the tile is custom colored and patterned with a sun burst theme and shower mosaic shown in mirror. The cabinets were custom as well, duplicated from a photo given to me by the client.

This master bathroom has a hidden tile shower stall and toilet room. To the right and left of the mirror are full size medicine cabinets. The facing door opens to the master bedroom on one side and family room on the other. Large format porcelain tiles on the floor and walls work nicely with twin sinks and large mirror.
