Staying on trend with the theme of black and white elegance this space features a two-person free standing vanity with dual mirrors making it a breeze to get ready at the same time without encroaching on each other’s space. The Alcove tub/shower features niche which is a divine feature for keeping your shampoo and body wash close at hand. Tying in the space is the Reverie black and white pattern tile.

This Joelton, TN hall bathroom design combines farmhouse style with eclectic details. The space includes a furniture style vanity cabinet in a dark wood finish complemented by a matching framed mirror and a three-light wall sconce. An alcove style bathtub/shower combination fits neatly into the space. The ceramic tile floor features Anatolia Tile Soho white tile with black octagon accent tiles.

This project was focused on eeking out space for another bathroom for this growing family. The three bedroom, Craftsman bungalow was originally built with only one bathroom, which is typical for the era. The challenge was to find space without compromising the existing storage in the home. It was achieved by claiming the closet areas between two bedrooms, increasing the original 29" depth and expanding into the larger of the two bedrooms. The result was a compact, yet efficient bathroom. Classic finishes are respectful of the vernacular and time period of the home.

In this full service residential remodel project, we left no stone, or room, unturned. We created a beautiful open concept living/dining/kitchen by removing a structural wall and existing fireplace. This home features a breathtaking three sided fireplace that becomes the focal point when entering the home. It creates division with transparency between the living room and the cigar room that we added. Our clients wanted a home that reflected their vision and a space to hold the memories of their growing family. We transformed a contemporary space into our clients dream of a transitional, open concept home.

This small bathroom received a much needed update as prior to the renovation, tiles had been held up with waterproof tape. The homeowners decided to go ahead and gut the space and are really pleased with the results of a bright and airy bathroom. To keep the project on budget and finding asbestos in the walls, the demolition was kept to a minimum by removing only the tiled wall surround and flooring and the renovation debris was carefully removed and disposed of. The bulkhead over the shower was tiled up to the ceiling to add the appearance of height in the space. A new vinyl window was installed to replace the old metal framed slider and the deep framed well created shelving to hold grooming products. The glass screen keeps the space open and bright while the floor tile adds fun and interest to the space. Striped bath towels add a beach-like element and ties in the grey walls and vanity. Gold accents add warmth to this space.

The new bathroom was allocated in the space that was previously used for a storage space, being a bigger bathroom than the previous one. Almost all fittings in the space were preloved, adding a lovely traditional touch and warmth to the room. The brass tapware was sourced from a specialist in rejuvenating old fittings. The vanity was created from an old work unit, shortened in height to an adequate bathroom size, and fitted with plumbing required. The reclaimed floor tiles are a stunning addition to the room, adding warmth and a real sense of vibrancy, The clients styles the art works and decor throughout themselves, making the space an altogether lovely, cosy one. The homeowners decided to take advantage of this situation to not only repair the home, but also to make some major space updates. The townhome was completely gutted to the studs throughout all three levels. The main living level was completely reconfigured with walls removed and spaces reimagined. The kitchen and 4 bathrooms were fully renovated. All flooring, trim, tile, fixtures, hardware, countertops, lighting and window treatments were redesigned. All interior elements designed and specified by A.HICKMAN Design.

In order to make the bathroom function better and gain more space, the original radiator was removed and replaced with in-floor heating, and a hot water heated towel warmer. The window surround is quartz so it can serve s a shelf in the shower.

Small master bathroom renovation. Justin and Kelley wanted me to make the shower bigger by removing a partition wall and by taking space from a closet behind the shower wall. Also, I added hidden medicine cabinets behind the apparent hanging mirrors.

Keeping the integrity of the existing style is important to us — and this Rio Del Mar cabin remodel is a perfect example of that. For this special bathroom update, we preserved the essence of the original lathe and plaster walls by using a nickel gap wall treatment. The decorative floor tile and a pebbled shower call to mind the history of the house and its beach location. The marble counter, and custom towel ladder, add a natural, modern finish to the room that match the homeowner's unique designer flair.
