Our company transformed this little shack into a luxurious home with a million dollar view by adding high ceilings, wall of glass facing the south providing natural light all year round, and designing an open living concept. The home has a built-in gas fireplace with tile surround, custom IKEA kitchen with quartz countertop, bamboo hardwood flooring, two story cedar deck with cable railing, master suite with walk-through closet, two laundry rooms, 2.5 bathrooms, office space, and mechanical room.

Master bathroom, Tom Holdsworth Photography The Skywater House on Gibson Island, is defined by its panoramic views of the Magothy River. Sitting atop the highest point of the Island is this 4,000 square foot, whole-house renovation. The design creates a new street presence and light-filled spaces that are complimented by a neutral color palette, textured finishes, and sustainable materials.

This unique and sculptural bathroom vanity was designed with beauty and function in mind. The four layers give it an elegant and sculptural form while housing LED lighting and offering convenient and necessary storage in form of drawers. Special attention was paid to ensure uninterrupted pattern of the rosewood veneer, maximizing its beauty. The design amplifies lighting by using translucent honey onyx slabs clad over plexiglass structure. It can be accessed thru removable sliding panel hidden inside top drawers. Use of LED lighting under each layer of the vanity and to illuminate the onyx top produces a soft and elegant pattern in the evening. Engineering of this vanity was especially important to ensure its weightless appearance. Structural elements cantilevered off the wall were incorporated into the body of the millwork. This view gives a glimpse into the dressing area and the built-in armoire cabinetry which lines both sides . By redesigning the bathroom/closet area, I was able to create a light filled dressing area with a focal point of the gorgeous tub through the portieres. La salle de bain est en deux parties. Une partie douche derrière le placard central, une partie baignoire face au meuble vasque suspendu. Celui ci est très fonctionnel avec ses vasques semi encastrées et son plan vasque sur lequel on peut poser des éléments. Le coin salle de bain est délimité par une verrière qui apporte du cachet. Cet aménagement permet de bénéficier d'une grande baignoire ainsi que d'une grande douche.
