This project was not only full of many bathrooms but also many different aesthetics. The goals were fourfold, create a new master suite, update the basement bath, add a new powder bath and my favorite, make them all completely different aesthetics. Primary Bath-This was originally a small 60SF full bath sandwiched in between closets and walls of built-in cabinetry that blossomed into a 130SF, five-piece primary suite. This room was to be focused on a transitional aesthetic that would be adorned with Calcutta gold marble, gold fixtures and matte black geometric tile arrangements. Powder Bath-A new addition to the home leans more on the traditional side of the transitional movement using moody blues and greens accented with brass. A fun play was the asymmetry of the 3-light sconce brings the aesthetic more to the modern side of transitional. My favorite element in the space, however, is the green, pink black and white deco tile on the floor whose colors are reflected in the details of the Australian wallpaper. Hall Bath-Looking to touch on the home's 70's roots, we went for a mid-mod fresh update. Black Calcutta floors, linear-stacked porcelain tile, mixed woods and strong black and white accents. The green tile may be the star but the matte white ribbed tiles in the shower and behind the vanity are the true unsung heroes.

This guest bath was remodeled to provide a shared bathroom for two growing boys. The dark blue gray vanity adds a masculine touch while double sinks and mirrors provide each boy with his own space. A tall custom linen cabinet in the shower area provides plenty of storage for towels and bath sundries, while a handy pullout hamper on the bottom keeps the area tidy. Classic white subway tile is repeated in the tub shower and on the vanity accent wall. Marble look porcelain floor tile picks up the gray color of the vanity and provides a beautiful and durable floor surface.

In this master bath, we installed a Vim Shower System, which allowed us to tile the floor and walls and have our glass surround to go all the way to the floor. This makes going in and out of the shower as effortless as possible. Along with the Barn Door style glass door, very simple yet elegant and goes great with the rustic farmhouse feel.

The original house was demolished to make way for a two-story house on the sloping lot, with an accessory dwelling unit below. The upper level of the house, at street level, has three bedrooms, a kitchen and living room. The “great room” opens onto an ocean-view deck through two large pocket doors. The master bedroom can look through the living room to the same view. The owners, acting as their own interior designers, incorporated lots of color with wallpaper accent walls in each bedroom, and brilliant tiles in the bathrooms, kitchen, and at the fireplace tiles in the bathrooms, kitchen, and at the fireplace. This stunning Gainesville bathroom design is a spa style retreat with a large vanity, freestanding tub, and spacious open shower. The Shiloh Cabinetry vanity with a Windsor door style in a Stonehenge finish on Alder gives the space a warm, luxurious feel, accessorized with Top Knobs honey bronze finish hardware. The large L-shaped vanity space has ample storage including tower cabinets with a make up vanity in the center. Large beveled framed mirrors to match the vanity fit neatly between each tower cabinet and Savoy House light fixtures are a practical addition that also enhances the style of the space. An engineered quartz countertop, plus Kohler Archer sinks and Kohler Purist faucets complete the vanity area. A gorgeous Strom freestanding tub add an architectural appeal to the room, paired with a Kohler bath faucet, and set against the backdrop of a Stone Impressions Lotus Shadow Thassos Marble tiled accent wall with a chandelier overhead. Our clients wanted to renovate their dated bathroom. On their wish list was a larger shower, linen closet, better lighting, using a modern farmhouse style that felt luxurious. We moved the small shower out of the corner, and made it the focal point in the room. We used penny rounds on the shower floor, bronze plumbing, and hand made elongated subway tiles. A deep gray grout shows off each tile. The old shower became the new linen closet.

The homeowners wanted a modern farmhouse bathroom to match the rest of their home. They asked for a double vanity and large walk-in shower. They also needed more storage and counter space. Although the space is nearly all white, there is plenty of visual interest. This bathroom is layered with texture and pattern.
