Design solutions included a self deck tub installed with great precision so that the tub apron of horizontal stacked glass tile slips seamlessly under the tub lip, a custom bi-fold glass doors that folds upon itself and can be stacked against the wall allowing for an open bathing experience as well as providing splash protection for the shower and a simple vanity cabinet suspended beneath a waterfall counter. The concrete floor flows seamlessly from the main part of the home and provides the perfect textural backdrop for the sleek porcelain shower and wall tiles that have been vertically installed. Upon stepping into this stylish japandi modern fusion bathroom nestled in the heart of Pasadena, you are instantly greeted by the unique visual journey of maple ribbon tiles These tiles create an inviting path that extends from the entrance of the bathroom, leading you all the way to the shower. They artistically cover half the wall, adding warmth and texture to the space. Indeed, creating a japandi modern fusion style that combines the best of both worlds. You might just even say japandi bathroom with a modern twist. Elegance and Boldness Above the tiles, the walls are bathed in fresh white paint. Particularly, he crisp whiteness of the paint complements the earthy tones of the maple tiles, resulting in a harmonious blend of simplicity and elegance. Moving forward, you encounter the vanity area, featuring dual sinks. Each sink is enhanced by flattering vanity mirror lighting. This creates a well-lit space, perfect for grooming routines. The goal was to open up this bathroom, update it, bring it to life! 123 Remodeling went for modern, but zen; rough, yet warm. We mixed ideas of modern finishes like the concrete floor with the warm wood tone and textures on the wall that emulates bamboo to balance each other. This was a complete gut & redesign of a master bathroom in Littleton, Colorado, with a goal of modern luxury spa. I believe that was achieved, and my clients couldn't be any happier with how it turned out! Carrera marble floors are heated, which run into the closet to the right side. Custom doors were made for the closet and toilet rooms, recessed lighting in the ceiling in both spaces, and fabulous new light fixtures to add a gorgeous and warm atmosphere. Solid white quartz counters add an additional touch of luxurious clean, simple lines. I wanted teak walls in this space. However, maintenance is quite a frequent challenge, so we settled on ceramic tile, which turned out to be above & beyond stunning! It is also extremely durable and virtually maintenance-free. The frameless shower allows the gorgeous cuts of Carrera marble to beautifully show, in addition to the "wood" accent.

Rodwin Architecture & Skycastle Homes Location: Boulder, Colorado, USA Interior design, space planning and architectural details converge thoughtfully in this transformative project. A 15-year old, 9,000 sf. home with generic interior finishes and odd layout needed bold, modern, fun and highly functional transformation for a large bustling family. To redefine the soul of this home, texture and light were given primary consideration. Elegant contemporary finishes, a warm color palette and dramatic lighting defined modern style throughout. A cascading chandelier by Stone Lighting in the entry makes a strong entry statement. Walls were removed to allow the kitchen/great/dining room to become a vibrant social center. A minimalist design approach is the perfect backdrop for the diverse art collection. Yet, the home is still highly functional for the entire family. We added windows, fireplaces, water features, and extended the home out to an expansive patio and yard. The cavernous beige basement became an entertaining mecca, with a glowing modern wine-room, full bar, media room, arcade, billiards room and professional gym. Bathrooms were all designed with personality and craftsmanship, featuring unique tiles, floating wood vanities and striking lighting. This completely custom home was built by Alair Homes in Ladysmith, British Columbia. After sourcing the perfect lot with a million dollar view, the owners worked with the Alair Homes team to design and build their dream home. High end finishes and unique features are what define this great West Coast custom home. The 4741 square foot custom home boasts 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, an office and a large workout room. The main floor of the house is the real show-stopper. Right off the entry is a large home office space with a great stone fireplace feature wall and unique ceiling treatment. Walnut hardwood floors throughout. The master bedroom is a true oasis, with walnut hardwood floors, a lit tray ceiling, and floor to ceiling windows to take in the view of the water. The spa-like master bathroom includes a stand-alone soaker tub, large glass enclosed shower, and custom floating double vanity with quartz countertop, two undermount sinks and undercabinet lighting. Flooring is heated 12x24 tile.
