For this project LETTER FOUR worked closely with the homeowners to fully transform the existing home via complete Design-Build services. The home was a small, single story home on an oddly-shaped lot, in the Pacific Palisades, with an awkward floor plan that was not functional for a growing family. We added a second story, a roof deck, reconfigured the first floor, and fully transformed the finishes, fixtures, flow, function, and feel of the home, all while securing an exemption from California Coastal Commission requirements. In this guest bathroom Medallion Cabinetry in the Maple Bella Biscotti Door Style Vanity with Cambria Montgomery Quartz countertop with 4” high backsplash was installed. The vanity is accented with Amerock Blackrock pulls and knobs. The shower tile is 8” HexArt Deco Turquoise Hexagon Matte tile for the back shower wall and back of the niche. The shower walls and niche sides feature 4”x16” Ice White Glossy subway tile. Cardinal Shower Heavy Swing Door. Coordinating 8” HexArt Turquoise 8” Hexagon Matte Porcelain tile for the bath floor. Mitzi Angle 15” Polished Nickel wall sconces were installed above the vanity. Native Trails Trough sink in Pearl. Moen Genta faucet, hand towel bar, and robe hook. Kohler Cimarron two piece toilet.

Rustic features set against a reclaimed, white oak vanity and modern sink + fixtures help meld the old with the new.

Old world meets new world in this tasteful and charming bathroom renovation. Nods to the property's heritage were achieved via the use of traditional federation-style patterned floor tiles and wood panelled walls while modernity was achieved via the use of sophistaced and muted white, grey and blue tones.

This large ensuite was designed to be spacious and practical. It features a large double basin vanity with a granite top, beautiful old English style chrome tap-ware and re-furbished old timber slabs to make shelf. It also features a walk-in open double shower with a central niche and built-in corner seat and hand-held combination shower rose on either end.

This bathroom was carefully thought-out for great function and design for 2 young girls. We completely gutted the bathroom and made something that they both could grow in to. Using soft blue concrete Moroccan tiles on the floor and contrasted it with a dark blue vanity against a white palette creates a soft feminine aesthetic. The white finishes with chrome fixtures keep this design timeless.

Stage two of this project was to renovate the upstairs bathrooms which consisted of main bathroom, powder room, ensuite and walk in robe. A feature wall of hand made subways laid vertically and navy and grey floors harmonise with the downstairs theme. We have achieved a calming space whilst maintaining functionality and much needed storage space.

This traditional home in Villanova features Carrera marble and wood accents throughout, giving it a classic European feel. We completely renovated this house, updating the exterior, five bathrooms, kitchen, foyer, and great room. We really enjoyed creating a wine and cellar and building a separate home office, in-law apartment, and pool house.
