Sally & Peter’s Shaker Style Kitchen

We designed this beautiful Shaker style painted wood kitchen for Sally and Peter’s new, open-plan, light filled room. With comfy sofas by the patio doors, and a family dining table in the middle, this open space needed a sociable kitchen. A kitchen where the cook wasn’t isolated from the rest of the room. It also, of course, needed to be practical, functional and look great! So the cook can always see what is going on, the BORA X-Pure hob has been positioned to face the patio doors. This high quality hob is perfect for cooking in an open plan room, as it has an in-built extractor that works extremely quickly, quietly and efficiently. Rather than having a dishwasher on the floor, Sally and Peter opted to have it at a raised height, which is perfect for them. No more bending down to stack and unload the contents! They also opted for raised height Neff ovens. The cupboards and drawers facing onto the dining area are not only practical but blend in seamlessly with the rest of the room. The kitchen also comes with plenty of good storage including a walk in corner pantry, pull out wicker baskets and crate drawers. There are other practical elements too such as a flip up power socket on the worktop, and a Quooker boiling water tap. The Shaker style kitchen furniture, and the soft neutral colour palette chosen by Sally and Peter looks fabulous and works beautifully with the rest of the room.
