This new kitchen has many green design elements while still being beautiful. Natural lighting is provided in the ceiling above the work island so the room is beautifully lit all day without using electricity. Floors are made from reclaimed lumber and finished naturally. Cabinetry is 100% wood (no pressboard or formaldehyde) and they are painted with a zero VOC paint. Counter tops are made in a local quarry. Backsplash is made from recycled glass. Light fixtures are LED. Faucets are all water saver. Appliances are all energy star. All paints are green.
