The addition has an open floor plan, and was designed with a central rotunda which is the country breakfast room; it has two diverging wings containing the family room and kitchen. The family room on the left has an indoor fireplace and an outdoor built-in grill. An exterior door opens to the outside. The kitchen is in the right wing and has French doors leading to a patio and pool area.
