This room is very textural with luxe fabrics and finishes, quiet, and monochromatic with some nice contrast. In person its so much nicer because you can see all the detail, fabrics and finishes. We used camel hair on the back blonde chairs, silk and wool mohair on the gorgeous Holly Hunt sofa, a chenille on the periwinkle side chair, and waxed linen on the two front Dessin wing back chairs. The wool sheers drape beautifully from the high windows and give a needed softness on the hard lines of the dark painted trim that the client has done throughout the home. The client wanted this room to be luxe but not in a gaudy way and was happy with the results.
