Our house on Cherokee

Blend of old and new. Kitchen has large center island with a raised section of glass-fronted cabinets for everyday stemware and cookbooks. Industrial fans counterpointed with embellished ceiling medallions. We chose black tempered glass appliances in lieu of stainless steel and I've been so happy I did...super easy to clean and no dents! We chose marble for the countertops - volakas for the island and st. laurent for the perimeter, and have loved them. Much easier to care for than most people say.
