Small 6'x7' Bathroom Remodel. As shown in the before/after drawings and pictures, this bathroom was totally gutted and all of the plumbing and fixtures were relocated to make much better use of the space. To accomplish this we had to cut several large 3" holes in the floor joists, so to reinforce them we added 3/4" plywood to each side of each joist...and this allowed us to move things where we wanted. This is a 100+ year old house so the tile and fixture selections reflected that Traditional look. Prior to re-installing the radiator we had it "dipped" to remove 100 years of lead paint and finished with a clear coat over a fresh coat of paint (see included pics). As a result the radiator was re-positioned from its intended location behind the door to a more visible/prominent location next to the tub...it looks like a work of art !!
