Master Bathroom

The ambition for this master bathroom was to go big! Inspiration started with the antique Spanish clay tile installed in the arched niche. The color tones and authentic vintage flare set the palette for the room. With no specific style in mind, the client was drawn to combining different finishes and textures for a unique application. The vanity splash pops in a tortoise-shell stained glass harlequin pattern outlined by an aged metal liner. To balance the heaviness of the black stone sinks and distressed cabinets, the groin vault ceiling was enhanced with a warm pewter patina finish. A dual walk-in shower opens the space and frames the negative-edge bathtub.
