This is a typical scenario of "once a brick fireplace"... by giving a level facade to the mortar and brick fire box and treating with limestone large hand cut tiles, this new fireplace is clean, elegant, yet understated. This was not the focal area, and not seeing the brick, helps give the area style without being the attention getter.
