Nous avons réaménagé cet appartement parisien pour un couple et ses trois enfants qui y habitaient déjà depuis quelques années. Le but était de créer une chambre supplémentaire pour leur fils ainé : l’ancienne cuisine accueille désormais la nouvelle chambre tandis que la nouvelle cuisine a été créée dans l’entrée. Pour délimiter ce nouvel espace, nous avons monté une cloison avec une verrière en partie haute et des rangements en partie basse. La cuisine s’ouvre désormais sur la salle à manger : ses tons clairs s’accordent parfaitement avec la grande pièce de vie. On y trouve également un bureau sur mesure, idéal pour le télétravail. Dans la chambre parentale, l’espace a été optimisé au maximum : on adore le grand dressing sur mesure qui prend place autour du cadre de porte ! Résultat : un appartement harmonieux et optimisé pour toute la famille. La couleur blanche et le bois prédominent pour apporter à la fois de la lumière et de la chaleur.

This was an outdated kitchen that lacked function. It was an U-shape with a small island and the refrigerator was out of the kitchen. We duplicated the beam in the family room when we opened the kitchen. Because the home is on the water, with lots of windows we decided to get a brushed finish on the granite to minimize glare. Another feature in this kitchen is the under cabinet and toekick lighting for safety, since the kitchen footprint was dramatically changed. Added a bar area with an undermount sink and dual temperature, lockable wine cooler. We added a 12 foot center opening slider in the family room and extended the deck.

This European kitchen has several different areas and functions. Each area has its own specific details but are tied together with distinctive farmhouse feel, created by combining medium wood and white cabinetry, different styles of cabinetry, mixed metals, warm, earth toned tile floors, blue granite countertops and a subtle blue and white backsplash. The hand-hammered copper counter on the peninsula ties in with the hammered copper farmhouse sink. The blue azul granite countertops have a deep layer of texture and beautifully play off the blue and white Italian tile backsplash and accent wall. The high gloss black hood was custom-made and has chrome banding. The French Lacanche stove has soft gold controls. This kitchen also has radiant heat under its earth toned limestone floors. A special feature of this kitchen is the wood burning stove. Part of the original 1904 house, we repainted it and set it on a platform. We made the platform a cohesive part of the space defining wall by using a herringbone pattern trim, fluted porcelain tile and crown moulding with roping. The office area’s built in desk and cabinets provide a convenient work and storage space. Topping the room off is a coffered ceiling. In this classic English Tudor home located in Penn Valley, PA, we renovated the kitchen, mudroom, deck, patio, and the exterior walkways and driveway. The European kitchen features high end finishes and appliances, and heated floors for year-round comfort! The outdoor areas are spacious and inviting. The open trellis over the hot tub provides just the right amount of shelter. These clients were referred to us by their architect, and we had a great time working with them to mix classic European styles in with contemporary, current spaces. The client's kitchen set was re-purposed and moved to the breakfast room. The old gas insert was updated and a stack stoned fireplace with a reclaimed wood mantle was added. The wall was above the fireplace was done in Marmorino plaster while the walls were done in a faux painting technique to mimic plaster

Set in the rolling hills of Virginia known for its horse farms and wineries, this new custom home has Old World charm by incorporating such elements as reclaimed barnwood floors, rustic wood and timewonn paint finishes, and other treasures found at home and abroad treasured by this international family. The Commandants House in Charlestown Navy Yard. I was asked to design the kitchen for this historic house in Boston. My inspiration was a family style kitchen that was youthful and had a nod to it's historic past. The combination of wormy cherry wood custom cabinets, and painted white inset cabinets works well with the existing black and white floor. The island was a one of kind that I designed to be functional with a wooden butcher block and compost spot for prep, the other half a durable honed black granite. This island really works in this busy city kitchen.

This contemporary kitchen boasts a large dark blue island with Caesarstone Organic White quartz composite counter tops. The brass hardware accents the dark blue beautifully.
