This project was so much fun! The kitchen originally stopped where the glass window areas start and it was a crowded dining area full of items that didn't have a place to be stored in the smaller kitchen. By extending the cabinets all the way to the end we added more storage , more counter space and a more open areas to dine and hang out. Swing is by baboosf.com

Cucina con isola centrale ampia con piano induzione sul quale si staglia il volume della cappa ad incasso. Tutta la composizione si gioca sulla perfetta armonia tra il bianco ed il nero dei volumi della cucina adagiati sul grigio perla del pavimento nel maxi formato 60*120 cm. L'illuminazione si gioca su tre elementi: faretti ad incasso (sull'isola e di fronte alle colonne), led ad incasso (sottopensili ed a delimitare la parete finestrata), sospensioni sulla zona pranzo).

Tired of their dated kitchen, the owners of this suburban colonial were eager for a contemporary update with more pantry space, better organization, and performance appliances. Monochromatic cabinetry in matte white lacquer set the sleek new vibe. Not even handles interrupt the flow, as cabinet channels and push-to-open hardware uphold the minimalist look. A neutral colour palette was the main aspect of the brief setting the tone for a sophisticated and elegant home. We chose to go with a white kitchen as it is timeless and classic. This kitchen exudes a sense of elegance, cleanliness, and freshness. This kitchen creates an illusion of space and airiness making it an inviting and uplifting space. Center stage of this kitchen is the benchtop and splash back! But the neutral backdrop of the white kitchen also makes the gold handles and tapware stand out.

A beautiful kitchen with a shaker style door from Second Nature. The Indigo Blue colour looks striking against the Rosa Astratto stone worktops. The copper handles were a great choice with the dark blue units. having an island in the kitchen provides a great seating area as well as extra storage and workspace. Great for entertaining!

This is a photo of my own kitchen which I remodeled in stages. When I moved in in 2015 I replaced the appliances with Stainless Steel Professional appliances: a Bosch oven and dishwasher, a Kitchenaid induction cooktop, a Vinotemp wine fridge, a whirlpool microwave, a Samsung 4 door flex fridge, a deep sink with a Delta Leeland faucet and an insta-hot. Then more recently I redid the countertops using Calacutta Gold quartz countertops on the countertop and backsplash and one "waterfall" down the side as you see in the photo. I also installed vinyl wood look flooring - which I believe is better than wood for kitchens as vinyl is totally waterproof.

By keeping the cabinetry around the perimeter of the room in Dove Grey, gave the room a crisp, light feel to it but we wanted to add some depth and the contrast of the island is Charcoal gave us exactly that. The space flows effortlessly from kitchen to garden, perfect for BBQ's in the summer evenings. The positioning of the bar stools on the island works well not only for casual socialising but also just enjoying a coffee in this fabulous new space overlooking the garden.
