This home remodel features a newly reworked kitchen with custom backsplash, island with four wine fridges and built-in cooktop. The bathroom offers a custom tile design, barn door glass door and multiple shower heads.

This homeowner came to us with her basic design ready for us to execute for her kitchen, but also asked us to design and update her entry, sunroom and fireplace. Her kitchen was 80’s standard builder grade cabinetry and laminate countertops and she had a knee wall separating her kitchen from the family room. We removed that wall and installed a custom cabinetry buffet to complement the cabinetry of the kitchen, allowing for access from all sides. We removed a desk area in the kitchen and converted it to a closed organization station complete with a charging station for phones and computers. Calcutta Quartzite countertops were used throughout and continued seamlessly up the walls as a backsplash to create a wow factor. We converted a closet into a pantry cabinet, and new stainless appliances, including a microwave drawer completed this renovation. Additionally, we updated her sunroom by removing the “popcorn” textured ceiling and gave it a fresh updated coat of paint. We installed 12x24 tile floor giving the room a simple classic transformation. Finally, we renewed the fireplace area, by building a custom mantle and adding wood paneling and trim to soften the marble fireplace face and a simple coat of paint in the entry and a new chandelier brought a lighter and fresher impact upon entering the home.

The two beautiful blue countertop towers that frame the modern wood hood and cooktop are two intricately designed larder cabinets built to meet the homeowner’s exact needs. The larder cabinet on the left is designed as a beverage center with apothecary drawers designed for housing beverage stir sticks, sugar packets, creamers, and other misc. coffee and home bar supplies. A wine glass rack and shelves provides optimal storage for a full collection of glassware while a power supply in the back helps power coffee & espresso (machines, blenders, grinders and other small appliances that could be used for daily beverage creations. The roll-out shelf makes it easier to fill clean and operate each appliance while also making it easy to put away. Pocket doors tuck out of the way and into the cabinet so you can easily leave open for your household or guests to access, but easily shut the cabinet doors and conceal when you’re ready to tidy up. Beneath the beverage center larder is a drawer designed with 2 layers of multi-tasking storage for utensils and additional beverage supplies storage with space for tea packets, and a full drawer of K-Cup storage. The cabinet below uses powered roll-out shelves to create the perfect breakfast center with power for a toaster and divided storage to organize all the daily fixings and pantry items the household needs for their morning routine. On the right, the second larder is the ultimate hub and center for the homeowner’s baking tasks. A wide roll-out shelf helps store heavy small appliances like a KitchenAid Mixer while making them easy to use, clean, and put away. Shelves and a set of apothecary drawers help house an assortment of baking tools, ingredients, mixing bowls and cookbooks. Beneath the counter a drawer and a set of roll-out shelves in various heights provides more easy access storage for pantry items, misc. baking accessories, rolling pins, mixing bowls, and more. The kitchen island provides a large worktop, seating for 3-4 guests, and even more storage! The back of the island includes an appliance lift cabinet used for a sewing machine for the homeowner’s beloved hobby, a deep drawer built for organizing a full collection of dishware, a waste recycling bin, and more! The view from the sofa into the kitchen. A relatively small space but good coming has meant the area feels uncluttered yet still has a lot of storage.

This contemporary Scandi style kitchen features simple white doors with an inset solid oak handle detail, picked up by the slatted oak end panels used on the tall units and both ends of the island. Cleverly hidden in the end panels on the island are pullout oak wine storage drawers. Feature contemporary lighting adds a graphic note to the scheme and matches the black bi-fold doors

With a wall full of windows and gorgeous barrel vaulted ceilings, this space needed grand finishes to live up to the architecture. J.S. Brown & Co. remodeled this kitchen, hearth room, and butler's pantry to with understated elegance and warm details.

Dans l’entrée - qui donne accès à la cuisine ouverte astucieusement agencée en U, au coin parents et à la pièce de vie - notre attention est instantanément portée sur la jolie teinte « Brun Murcie » des menuiseries, sublimée par l’iconique lampe Flowerpot de And Tradition.

“With the open-concept floor plan, this kitchen needed to have a galley layout,” Ellison says. A large island helps delineate the kitchen from the other rooms around it. These include a dining area directly behind the kitchen and a living room to the right of the dining room. This main floor also includes a small TV lounge, a powder room and a mudroom. The house sits on a slope, so this main level enjoys treehouse-like canopy views out the back. The bedrooms are on the walk-out lower level.“These homeowners liked grays and neutrals, and their style leaned contemporary,” Ellison says. “They also had a very nice art collection.” The artwork is bright and colorful, and a neutral scheme provided the perfect backdrop for it. They also liked the idea of using durable laminate finishes on the cabinetry. The laminates have the look of white oak with vertical graining. The galley cabinets are lighter and warmer, while the island has the look of white oak with a gray wash for contrast. The countertops and backsplash are polished quartzite. The quartzite adds beautiful natural veining patterns and warm tones to the room.

We love a good classic, especially when it comes to kitchen design. That's why we were thrilled to work with a couple in Brighton who was referred to us by a past client. We went with an updated classic British kitchen design, incorporating modern touches to keep it fresh. Our client had a side return extension to their property, and they wanted to use it as a sizeable kitchen-dining space. They were also passionate about incorporating a window seat into the room's design. The open plan design ensures no barriers between the kitchen and dining areas, so this family and their guests can easily socialise. The kitchen island adds additional seating and extra space for food preparation. The cabinetry is from the Masterclass Marlborough range. This sophisticated shaker-style design gives a touch of luxury with its silk-painted finish. We used Heritage Grey for the perimeter units and Hunter Green for the island units. The tall units work great as a pantry, housing the refrigerator and the mini wine shelf above it. The cabinet door handles are brushed steel, but we've mixed knob handles and cup handles for added interest. Classic Quartz Misterio was the perfect choice for the worktops — a white quartz material with very subtle veining. The Blanco Andano Composite Sink and the Blanco Candor-S Tap have a modern, sleek design that perfectly complements the cabinets and worktops. Apart from the AEG microwave we supplied, the rest of the appliances are our client's own. As a finishing touch, we included stylish pendant lights in the kitchen and dining area to add warmth and character. Lastly, we built the window bench to provide cosy seating and additional storage. It seamlessly transitions into the garden with its green cushion, pillows, and 54mm-thick Portland Oak Effect worksurface. We also added open shelves on both sides of the bench, perfect for storing books, magazines, and board games.

Cet appartement de 100m² acheté dans son jus avait besoin d’être rénové dans son intégralité pour repenser les volumes et lui apporter du cachet tout en le mettant au goût de notre client évidemment. Tout en conservant les volumes existants, nous avons optimisé l’espace pour chaque fonction. Dans la pièce maîtresse, notre menuisier a réalisé un grand module aux panneaux coulissants avec des tasseaux en chêne fumé pour ajouter du relief. Multifonction, il intègre en plus une cheminée électrique et permet de dissimuler l’écran plasma ! En rappel, et pour apporter de la verticalité à cette grande pièce, les claustras délimitent chaque espace tout en laissant passer la lumière naturelle. L’entrée et le séjour mènent au coin cuisine, séparé discrètement par un claustra. Le coloris gris canon de fusil des façades @bocklip laquées mat apporte de la profondeur à cet espace et offre un rendu chic et moderne. La crédence en miroir reflète la lumière provenant du grand balcon et le plan de travail en quartz contraste avec les autres éléments. A l’étage, différents espaces de rangement ont été ajoutés : un premier aménagé sous les combles avec portes miroir pour apporter de la lumière à la pièce et dans la chambre principale, un dressing personnalisé.
